Relaxing walk over two bridges over the Hudson if you do the Loop Walk. Day we went was a little drizzle but it was fun walking over the Hudson.

This walkway is where I go to clear my head after work. There is nothing better than walking while listening to music and letting the river breeze blow through my hair. I wish the bikers would be more cautious with the pedestrians.

Very clean, lots of families with dogs. Everyone was pleasant. The scenery was beautiful. You can also ride your bike or scooter.

What used to be a railroad bridge on which FDR traveled from his home in Hyde Park to NYC and beyond for his presidential campaign has been preserved as a sort of high-line for the Hudson Valley. I first walked across in the fall and the view of the river was spectacular with the highlights of colorful red, yellow, orange... More

My husband and I were here in late May. I grew up nearby and wanted to see what this was like. It's gorgeous and clean. I hope to get back in the fall for the foliage.

A gorgeous view from one of the highest walkways around. The issue is there are too many "things" going on..unicycle, bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, hot wheels, and of course walkers, runners, and walkers with dogs. Where it once was spotlessly kept, it now has lots of dog poo stains that haven't been sprayed down. Won't catch me on the elevator- it... More

While you can jog or bicycle it, I think just strolling across it or just 1/2 way and back with the family and/or friends is 'the best'. We recently did just that with relatives visiting from Germany. Peering high/low/near/far/South/North/East/West, we discussed the history of the Hudson River/the Catskills etc. and, of course, reminisced about family members both alive and deceased... More

Beautiful views of the Hudson River and the surrounding scenery. You can walk or bike and with the new elevator access is much easier. Benches along the way if you want or need to stop and sit a while. At least two good restaurants in the immediate area with outside and inside dining.
