The walkway is awesome! It was quite windy and cold the day I was there so I did not venture across the entire walkway. I would love to go back when it's a bit warmer and do the entire walk.

This place is really nice and a great to-do on a beautiful spring, summer or fall day. Spacious enough so you don't feel like everyone is on top of you but still small enough to do a nice jog on or walk with the dog.

I never expected to be able to cross the Hudson River on a footbridge but here it is. Initially we could not understand what this spectacular structure was all about. When the weather is good spend a few hours and walk across the Hudson River with no cars marring the trip.

This place is very beautiful, but no more than a magnificent bridge over the Hudson :-) The walk over the bridge takes a while, and the views are very unique, especially since they are accessible for everyone. If you are a hiker that was to many mountains in upstate NY - you won't be amazed - but this is a... More

Full disclosure, I volunteer there, so not sure how unbiased I am, but this is about the eighth time Tripadvisor has suggested I write a review, so here goes. The overwhelming majority of people I meet while volunteering (or just visiting on my own) are very happy and friendly and say how much they enjoyed their visit. The only time... More

Walked on a sunny Fall day, pets allowed. Elevator if needed, also 1 section has about 20 steps or you can start from the parking area. Walway is about 3 miles round trip. Get your walking sneakers on & give it a try!

My wife and I ware spending a few days in the Hyde Park / Poughkeepsie ares and this was a must do on our list. We did the entire 4 mile loop, which started in Poughkeepsie and returned to Poughkeepsie via the Mid Hudson Bridge. The weather was sunny and brisk. The sights were beautiful. Definately bring a camera with... More

free parking, porta potties, food vendors and a nice place to walk/run/bike? What more do you need - views of the Catskills too? Got 'em. Give it a try, you'll like it.

This is a very nice walk to do...and would have been even nicer if we had got to do it all. The bridge closes at 5:00 and they mean locked up at 5:00...not knowing this we got there at 4:30 and began the walk...it is wonderful, nice gentle slope and would beat great view of the river-but at 4:45 trucks...
