We fell in love with Rafael winery from the moment we walked in. First, you feel as though you've been transported to Italy. The architecture is amazing. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were all delicious! We mostly tasted the reds, but the server insisted that we have a small sample of one of their whites as... More

We learned of this winery from a waitress and it did not disappoint. The building is like an old Monastery with a round tasting bar in the center. Call ahead to make reservations for a tour with Gabe. She gave us our tour and it was great. We just got back and all the flowers were blooming and there was... More

We visited this winery on the recommendation of the Inn where we were staying. From the outside it looks beautiful, but once inside we were virtually ignored for 5 minutes while the people who were leading the tasting washed glasses. Normally, there is a set fee for the tasting, I.e. $5 for 5 wines. However, at this winery, each wine... More

You get what you pay for and Raphael is excellence. The atmosphere is supberb and their wine is fantastic. Family owned and operated, you can see the care put in to this place. The staff is knowledgeable, refined and fun. Not pretentious but definitly a higher level expereince. I hesitated giving a review, only because I want to keep the... More

My boyfriend and I recently visited Raphael Winery for the first time and were amazed by the quality of the wines and the facilities at Raphael. We came to learn a lot more about wine and the wineries process during our guided tour of the facility. We were extremely lucky to have gotten Gabriele as our tour guide who with... More

Raphael's tasting room is outstanding. The facility is built in the Mediterranean style, a great place for a corporate event or wedding.

I would agree with the reviewer about this being the most beautiful winery east of Napa... or west of Tuscany. The building and property is worth a visit because you truly feel transported. We enjoyed the wine, particularly the red. The tasting prices are a bit higher than others in the area but it was worth it. Tastings ranged from... More

My husband and I are big fans of east end wineries, esp in the fall. This place however, is a stunner, with breathtaking dramatic decor. The wine is great, and the staff is very nice as well. We try to go when we know there is entertainment. Picnic Baskets are welcome too, so bring your own food, or cheese platters... More

This place had very high end delicious wine. My favorite was the port. Unlike other wineries, you pay per taste, which was nice. You get just what you want. If you go for no other reason, go to look at how beautiful this place is. It's no accident that this place is closed every Saturday for a wedding. I've honestly... More
