This is a great vineyard with lots of selections for every season. Easy to get to on the way to or from the ferry. You can stay and have a wine tasting or simply run in a grab some wine to stock up before your next trip!

I gave it two stars and that was for the outside seating area and band. We tasted 5 wines and I barely even enjoyed one. The bartender was not as friendly to us and that really turned me off. If you bring a nice basket of food and buy a bottle you can truly enjoy the band and sit and... More

My boyfriend and I go the LI wineries a few times a year. We usually do some vineyard hopping but we always end up back at Pindar. The wines are delicious and they have a large variety to choose from, more than any vineyard that I have visited. We usually go into the tasting room and do a tasting then... More

Stopped here while on a wine tour with a friend and I think they may be my second or third favorite winery. I loved there tatsing set up although everything was offered for a fee. I came on a bus trip so we were offered free tastings while everyone else had to pay a fee. You are also able to... More

We had a very nice relaxing day. We started with the wine tasting and our hostess was very nice. Even thou it was crowded our party of seven did not have to wait for a place at the tasting bar. They did not rush us and we ordered cheese and crackers. When we were done with the tasting, bottles of... More

We spent a day wine tasting and Pindar was our favorite. The person helping us was engaging and knew her stuff thoroughly. And the wine is excellent.

In general Long Island wines suck but Pindar's are the worst. This place is a haven for people who know nothing about wine and think its cool yo visit a winery and drink shittly, overpriced wine. Avoid.

On a beautiful day in June, sampling wines at this lovely vineyard was the perfect activity. There were many choices of tasting options, and each was very reasonable in price. Patrons of all ages were enjoying their wines and snacks in the indoor bar area or outside on the large and welcoming patio. Live music was available on a second... More

During the month of June me and my good friends made our annual visit to the North Fork wine region in Suffolk county, New York. We drove by lots of fruit, vegetable and plant stands. We arrived to our favorite vineyard (Pindar)and live music was playing in a large gazebo . This vineyard allows you to bring your own food.... More

A one-time, must visit place to say you did it. Overcrowded, over priced and nobody cares about wine. Just party and drink in a vineyard. The wine can be found at any Long Island liquor store. We visited 15 years ago and had a wonderful experience with a tour and tasting. The last few times were met with young couples... More
