A must see on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Lovely spot right on the lake, beautiful building, friendly staff, and great wine. Found a self-serve produce stand nearby and got some wonderful Empire apples and acorn squash to take home too.

Greeted warmly by enthusiastic staff. Our pourer was wonderful and friendly and able to describe some great food pairings. She also gave us 2 complimentary tastings as it wasn't crowded, happy to beat the 2 bus tours that were behind us. Wonderful stop.

My husband and I visited Sheldrake Point Winery last week and had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. As he poured us the wines we requested, Will explained each wine and the various flavors we would encounter. He was very personable and professional. The wines were quite memorable.

The Sheldrake Winery was the last stop for our large group (17 people) on a 5 winery tour. This stop was by far the most fun. The young man pouring for us was entertaining, funny and most of all knowledgable. The quality of the wine produced at this winery is also stellar - great stop on a winery tour

Really like the wines. Miss the restaurant the used to have. Staff is friendly. Prices we average. They have a nice gift shop and you can get some cheese to go with the wines...yummy

My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I visited the Sheldrake Point Winery for some wine tasting in August. They're open in April through December from 10:00AM - 5:30PM and it costs $3 to taste 5 wines. They were moderately busy when we arrived there on a Monday afternoon. Their wines were good, we especially liked their Dessert Pinot Noir and purchased... More

I visited in late May, and it was a beautiful day in upstate New York. I wish I could remember the name of the man who facilitated the tasting; he obviously had worked at the winery for many years and was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the wines. The riesling was superb as well as the ice wine. The winery is... More

Our best tasting of 7 wineries on the Cayuga wine trail! Ruben did not rush us through the full wine selection... Very pleasant moment and good wines.

We walked to the winery from the Driftwood Inn, where we spent the night. Hitting it just as they opened, we had an excellent wine tasting - a flight of five. If you're savvy, you'll choose wines that the others in your group did not and thus taste a wide assortment. Sheldrake Point had some really nice wines and we... More

Sheldrake Point Winery and tasting room have great views of Cayuga Lake. You can walk around the property, taking in the sights and smells of the growing grapes, sunflowers, other plantings, and, of course, the lake right across the roadway. Our tasting server, from nearby Ithaca, was an incredibly nice fellow, laid back, yet humorous and informative. He admittedly attributed... More
