As beaches go..not a favorite..it is very rocky..bring a chair ..don't even attempt to layout on a towel! The views are nice..the area it self..a lead to other adventures in and about ... Ferry service available...

I am not a beach goer but love Orient Point. We live on Long Island and never think to go the sandy beaches we have, but love the rocky shore of Orient and the quieter experience of the North Fork.

Love it! Flat sandy beaches, miles of natural salt marsh coast line to walk or bike ride. Not crowded at all. Clean bathroom facilities, play ground, picnic areas and grills and you can fish, swim, kayak and more.

This park is big, beautiful and well maintained and has clean bathroom facilities and grounds. That being said, they have a flies and mosquitos problem (even on a hot day) that appears to be unaddressed. I would recommend bringing lots of bug spray.

A lovely place away from the maddening crowds!! Easy to miss becasue it is onthe Peconic Bay, not the Long Island Sound

Came here to getaway and absolutely loved it for my first time. It's not too far past greenport, and is just so picturesque. The bathrooms are clean, and the parking is convenient. The beaches are just so lovely, and the pathways for hiking and the bay side are less windy. There are cute little crabs everywhere, ospreys, and clear water.... More

Nice place....remote feel. Not like the Hamptons; rather, is "rustic" and real. Enjoyed walking the beach (no real crowds in early May). Think of a rocky hiking trail...liked the porch swings overlooking the water.

A beautiful beach, a mile or two from the ferry landing, so it is a long walk or short bike ride. The beach is a mix of smooth rocks, sand and shells, but the water has mostly sand so it is easy on the feet. Great playground, and a number of beach swings for two, looking out over the ocean.... Great beaches for walking. Hiking trails with water-views on each side. Porch swings in the sand. You can even launch your kayak here. Osprey nests. Not the Hamptons!!! Best to go off-season, feels almost remote and no parking fees then.
