I have just had the most wonderful Christmas Tour and Tea at Old Westbury. I go in Spring Summer and Fall but Christmas was the best.. The Gardens in the spring,summer and fall are beautiful, the mansion is a peice of history so much for so little. I feel like I went to England. They have 200 acres so close... more

The mansion and grounds are immense and beautifully arranged - you get a lot of exercise walking around. There are a lot of benches so you can sit and watch the kids run around. However, I think it's too expensive ($10 per person) for taking the kids to a big backyard to run around. Not somewhere I'd go on a... more
