Love to take the lift up to the top of McCauley, soak in the views and take it all in. We try to do the lift each year when we visit In the summer. Hard to believe enough snow falls in the winter to cover the terrain, but in Old Forge, it snows. Summertime views are awesome. Fulton chain of... More

adults $6 to ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain in the off season. You can picnic at the top and stay as long as you like before taking the ride back down the mountain or hiking it. Good experiance

My wife and I are both limited on walking, but the chair lift made our visit truly special. We were able to bring our small dog, and had a bag lunch seated in Adirondack chairs at the top, just amazing.

McCauley Mtn is one of the best skiing attractions for a family. They have all values of youth and experienced skiers. There normally are lots of attractions going on that the family can enjoy and it's a very laid back sleepy town in the middle of the Adirondacks if you are looking for a relaxing vacation.

Learned to ski here 40 years ago, and still love skiing because of it. Small on vertical, but plenty of challenge. Steeps, rocks, trees... all there. Definitely a throwback feel, but comfortable lodge and reliable (if old) lifts... t-bar to the top gets you more runs per hour, but kid friendly chair to the cruisers is a great family option.

We are cross country skiers and we have enjoyed this location for several years. The trails are groomed well and the price is around 6 or 7 for the day. There are some challenging hills to climb, but they are optional. My relatives skied the downhill, and they are used to fancy plans, and they said that the mountain had... More

The skiing is incredible here! The mountain offers a wide range of different skill level runs. I was surprised at how many runs have been developed since I had been there so long ago!

McCauley is a smaller town run ski facility. Several Olympic skiers started here. Slopes are challenging, but for average skiers there are plenty of safer runs too. There are great views from the top and fun euns.

I was in Old Forge snowmobiling with my sons and took a day for snowboarding at McCauley Mountain. I have been here several times with my family and we have always enjoyed it. Skiing at this small community mountain is a real pleasure. Everything here you want. Nice trails, reasonable rates, ski rentals, and a snack bar. If you want... More

We went with another couple and it was such a fun time. It was fall so all the leaves were turning and the view of the water was just breath taking. My friend even brought a bottle of wine so when we got to the top we all got to toast together with a beautiful view.
