Beautiful spot beneath OIA where there are a number of traditional tavernas serving fresh fish overlooking the sea. We had lunch there on a gorgeous day and it felt like we were transcended to another time. We had perfectly grilled fish and other local specialties and enjoyed watching local families taking a day off.

Loved Amoudi Bay! Postcard perfect! Lovely clear blue water and boats. Had a drink at one of the little restaurants. Great place to relax and take in the views. We also walked about the rocks to the little swimming area (the trail is starting to deteriorate...be careful!) and put our feet in the water. Lovely

I live on the mediterranean for more than 6 years and this was the best pulpo and calamari I ever ate. The location was like being in a movie

There are 4 fresh fish tasverna's in Amoudi (best get there by car or bike as its about 450 donkey steps down) I like the furthest as around the bend you can swim off the rocks and the water is clear. I've had fresh squid, fresh fish (Various) local wine and also sat and watched the ferry's and boats go... More

We visit this small picturesque port of Oia, due to our cruise, by our private mini bus tour in Santorini. He had lunch in a tavern there for approx. 1hour. We do not recommend this place for swimming. Very nice views with 3-4 taverns and a lot of small boats.. Do not miss the chance to visit it! NP

The most beautiful crystal blue water. Good restaurants, and you can swim ! The walk up/ down the hundreds of steep stairs is worth it. We did not take the donkeys but we saw them. Amoudi Bay was beautiful and you can eat right on the water.

Our cruise ship docked in the middle of the caldera when it arrived early morning in Santorini. We took a tender and landed at the pier where we took a water taxi going directly to Oia. The 20 minute boat ride is a treat in itself. The views of the different layers of soil of Santorini island are spectacular. Oia... More

When from the hotel told us about Amoudi Bay and the beach there, we were expecting to see a beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. We took the steps from Goulas and we were going down about 15 minutes. I should say that the surrounding scenery was picturesque. My girlfriend and me felt like in a mystery movie, walking down, seeing... More

For anyone spending time in Oia, this is an absolute must to enjoy. I will warn you: the stairs may seem a bit daunting but there are many bends to enjoy the view ( and catch your breath!). The stairs are wide and very shallow, but with cobblestones and sand so often slippery so proper footwear is important ( ideally,... More

took a quick pitstop there. spent like 15-20 mins tops for photos. was there during winter, so not many shops were open, while most were renovating. closest i got to the sea in santorini. beautiful clear waters, with many cafes/restaurants facing the sea. definitely a place for the summer, to take a dip
