I'm not sure what was better the views the food or the company! (Shh don't tell my friends!) We took the long walk down...it was not the best and I wish we would have taken the donkeys. Have the restaurant call you a can to get back up as no one wants to walk that much after eating so so... More

We were in search of a clean beach ,with white sand, which doesn't exist on Santorini !We headed into Ammoudi bay as we heard the water is so clear and clean and safe for the children to swim in.After eating lunch at one of the few taverns on the edge of the sea which was lovely called Katrina's ,we headed over... We have been lucky enough to be staying in Ammoudi for 3 months. The best thing to do if you're only on Santorini for a short time is come down reasonably early in the day and walk around the rocks for a swim. If you're game jump of the platform beside the church on the little rocky island. After that... More

If you fancy snorkelling, then walk passed the Amoudi Bay restaurants along the rocks, a few tricky but fairly easy climbs brings you to a secluded area in front of a mini rocky island. The water is really clear and turquoise blue here and there's even a few colourful fish around. Make sure to swim around the island to spot... More

We were recommended to visit this place by some locals. The were right to do so as it was such a gorgeous place. The little restaurant perched on the harbour edge was perfect and the view exceptional.

What's nice about Amoudi Bay is that it's far from the big crowds , and the view is just beautiful. Restaurants there are really good and simply sea food

Stunning local fishing port. Well worth the stairs. If not fit ride a donkey back up to Oia! Sunset Tavern great for lunch or dinner.

We loved Amoudi Bay! This is a “must-do” in Oia! You walk west on the main street which takes you to the end of Oia then you walk down the stairs into the bay. The bay has boats and restaurants for you to enjoy after a day of swimming. You walk through the restaurant area around the island to the... More

We happened upon this bay by accident and were very glad we found it! Absolutely stunning setting perched on the rock face overlooking the inlet. Unfortunately almost all the waterfront tables were reserved so we advise you book ahead. We managed to find a table at the only restaurant available and ordered a couple of cocktails (very expensive!). Not sure... More
