Worth the trek of 400+ steps roundtrip down to Amoudi Bay. The best and fresh seafood restaurants - impeccable grilled octopus - and the myriad of sea blue colors along the bay. You can walk around the cliff to an awesome swimming spot where you can literally float your way around. A pretty high jumping spot and a little white... More

You should have a car be cause it is not a easy way to get. Enjoy the scenery and the amazing wave! It seems a good restaurant here but we dont have time to visit.

We walked down and had lunch. It was definitely cool to walk down the mountain. I didn't live the restaurants in the harbor. And it's not much of a harbor, there's no sand just rocks. Took a donkey ride back up for only 5 euro. Not a bad deal at all. Except that I'm scared of donkeys!

You have not experienced Santorini completely if you don't visit Amoudi Bay. This is a must go to for a meal or some ouzo. The sunsets are precious moments.

Decent food but nothing special, great atmosphere on the water, but way overpriced. Food was better up in Oia.

You will have to try one of the tavernas on the bay in order to rest - this is a workout. Awesome views - just remember you have to go back UP.

reaching ammoudi right from the hotel can be done via car or by taking 200 and ...steps down to ammoudi port for best fish taverns on the island, not that much of a beach but perfect for taking the cruises around the island

Lots of fun with tavernas right on the bay. With a choice of donkeys or the 260 steps down from zodiac, it's worth the experience.

This was perhaps the best part of our trip to Oia. I loved dangling my foot down at the Amoudi Bay. We walked all the way down rather than waiting for the Sunset to complete; and weren't we glad. The bay is also an amazing spot to enjoy the view and the close of the day. The climb up can... More
