felt like private dining , you and the sunset. The crowds up top around the windmills are a bit much, while being at water-level for a sunset is a nice change. Getting there and back the only slight challenge, but worth it!

We did a catamaran tour out of Ammoudi Bay and had a wonderful afternoon there afterwards. Sunset restaurant has some of the freshest seafood you'll get. Follow the pathway around the side (if the water is in front of you go to the left). It's a bit sketchy, at one point you'll have to cross a little rock bridge, but... More

Very beautiful port and best time to visit is early morning. The local seafood tavernas are worth a visit, they are the best in Santorini.

If you are travelling to Oia, this is a must. The views are fantastic and we ate at 2 restaurants there and the food was great at both. Very accommodating to children.

If you go to Oia, Amoudi Bay is a must visit! Even though the road to go to the swimming part is a bit rocky, but it's very worth it! But make sure you know how to swim because there are no lifeguards or supervision at all, so you are on your own. I actually went there last year August... More

Gorgeous blue water awaits after a long walk down the steps to Amoudi Bay from the town of Oia. We were the first to arrive and jump into the perfect blue waters. Soon enough about 15-20 people had joined and we spent the next hour jumping from the small island cliffs.

Best things in Amoudi Bay are the fresh seafood and the swimming! There are tons of shop en route to Amoudi Bay, but at the bottom of the stairs are great open-air restaurants on the water with fresh seafood you can pick out yourself.

Dinner at Dimitris. Local fishermen outdoor tavern restaurant with beautiful sunset views. Fresh fish served. Surprisingly thing is it is pricey for the fresh fish everywhere in all the islands, considering their by the sea and caught locally.
