Well worth the price. $100/person gets you a trip through the Caldera to the hot springs, red and black beaches, snorkeling, dinner and free drinks.

Beautiful little bay with crystal blue water and a number of seafood restaurants. If you carry on walking down to the left you get to the point where you can jump off the cliffs into the water and swim to the little island which was definitely a highlight for us. I call it an escape because you have to walk... More

We enjoyed our visit to Ammoudi Bay once we arrived there. We had a great lunch at Dimitri's which is the last taverna before the swimming area. the scenery was surreal. If we went again, we would walk the long road down or take a taxi. The donkey poop-covered stairs were absolutely disgusting and I have a strong stomach. Please... More

The donkeys are cute but they definitely make their presence known as you hike down the stairs trying to avoid what they had for dinner the day before (really, it's just digested hay). We kind of went halfway down but the views are amazing. The donkeys went by while we were on the steps so we got to take pictures... More

We loved Amoudi Bay nice gentle walk down 240/260 steps and a nice walk back up again, or you could catch a Donkey if you didn't feel like the exhilarating climb back up the steps.

Many great restaurants on the water. Do the grilled whole fish. Check out the Catamaran charters. Can swim out to a rock and jump into the water. Crystal clear water but beaches are very rocky.

This spot is stunning, a perfect little harbour with crystal clear water, incredible backdrop and some excellent places to eat. I wish I had gone for a swim but didn't want to be the only one in there.

Amoudi bay is a visually stunning combination of red cliffs and white houses. The place looks absolutely unreal. It is full of worthy fish taverns and if you follow the path that goes alongside the tavernas, you will find an amazing place for a swim. The geological setting in unique and the underwater scenery there is outstanding. Snorkelers will adore... More

The bay was very pretty and my husband and I took a Catamaran tour out into the Caldera which is a must! If you are just going down to the bay and not taking a boat out onto the water, I wouldn't say that the bay itself is a "must-do". However I was told there are good restaurants there.
