Do this early in the morning it's a long walk down (we did it in flip flops but on reflection trainers would've been safer!!) It can get hot if you walk back up. Really pretty little harbour!

We stayed at Esperas top of this bay in 2013. It was a beautiful place to live . We liked the restaurants along the bay.

Local fish ! Excellent value for money! Unique experience if you can catch a boat tour along the coast from Ammoudi and jump in the crystal blue waters!

It seems a small bay under the stunning Caldera, but actually is a little treasure of this island. White houses surrounded by the enormous red cliffs of the caldera and dozens of donkeys who wait for you to climb together up to Oia via the 300 stairs. The water is green and clear, a gorgeous place to have a lunch... More

Just like other parts of Santorini, Amoudi Bay is also very scenic and gorgeous. Very close to Oia, you could hike down to the Bay via the stairways off Oia town. Highly-recommended

All the cursing down the flight of stairs avoiding donkey poo like a ballerina was worth it. I would suggest covered shoes and a lot of wet tissue just in case you accidentally stepped on one. The bay is beautiful and the waters were sparkling and almost clean. A refreshing dip... Oia can be so hot so any kind of... More

Amoudi bay was quite pittoresque and absolutely worth the visit, but the walk down from Oia is far from pleasant. Hot weather, millions of steps and loads of donkey poo are to be expected during your way down. Don't go hungry and in heels!

We drove down to the bay nothing open because of the time of the year. We then walked up the stairs to the top for a lovely view. Walked back down to the bay, it's a really pleasant walk, obviously steep but worth the differant viewing angles. I think in summer the donkeys do the trek for you!! Some great... More

When in Oia take the hike down to Amoundi Bay. Beautiful view with several great restaurants to choose from. The walk back up is tiring or you can take donkeys. There is a trail around the cliffs for a place to swim but we didn't have enough time. Very quiet compared to the crowds above in Oia.

Small but lovely bay. Nothing much there, but still worth visiting and enjoy a peaceful moment there.
