No wonder the Impressionists loved to paint here!

We hiked these cliffs daily for 3 days. I'd have like to have done more, and been there longer for longer hikes, as it rained each morning, we got soaked the first day, and then got late starts the others. Both directions are gorgeous, with some paved areas of trails and some not. Lots of steps to start from the... More

Photos won't do any justice to this marvelous place along the English Channel coastline in France. One has to be there to be amazed, Absolutely beautiful and stunning views. If arriving in car, it is better to drive all the way up to the Chapel where free parking is offered. This is were you get to see the grandeur of... More

These cliffs are famous for a reason: they are spectacular. The nature is beautiful, the wind is very strong, and you can see a lot of seagulls looking for food and watching if they can steal something from tourists. It is very easy to reach them and walk along the top of these cliffs from the town. It was not... More

Visited Etretat as part of a bus tour from the Amadeus Diamond riverboat. The steep white chalk cliffs and arches of Etretat are not to be missed. My wife and I walked the steep trail to the top of the arch you can see from the town and we were rewarded with a view of another bigger arch on the... More

Truly spectacular scenery! Great views from the beach and fantastic scenery if you're prepared to hike up the cliffs and walk along the top. Quite breathtaking, from both ends of the beach and the small town. Plenty of reasonable restautants to choose from.

This area is absolutely worth visiting. Sure, the weather can be pretty bad - especially windy - but we went on a cold and wet day but were treated with some great evening weather. Following the GR21 walk which runs along the coast is well worth it, especially on the southern end. A blog post with some information and photos... More

Recently went there to propose. I was the perfect location! Near the top there is a bench where you can enjoy the view (with a glass of bubbly)

One of most beatiful places, you should to visit! Take a time to spend here all day. It`s a great escape from Paris. You can go there by train from Paris to Le havre and from there by bus. Cliffs are amazing!
