We came from a week's diving in Pemba and only had one day to dive in Zanzibar. We wanted to go to Mnemba atoll which is supposed to have some of the best dive sites in Zanzibar. We stayed in Matemwe and went "diving" with the One Ocean centre there. It was the worse diving in our lives. First they... More

One Ocean welcomes reviews on TripAdvisor, recognizing that it’s a useful and healthy forum for travellers to share their travel experiences and opinions. Indeed we all use it when we research our own holidays. However, in order for it to be useful it needs to be factual and correct. Our boats cannot accommodate 25 divers. You can clearly see images... We've been diving with One Ocean at Matemwe Beach Village, and had 3 days of fun and of great submarine landscape :) the 2 owners/ instructors there are French, so if you are French-speaking we would even more recommend to dive with this Center. They have a great team, very professional and taking care of everyone. We've done very various... More

My 3 adolescents followed the PADI OWD course over three days, while I dived off the same boat. I was impressed by the quality and thoroughness of the training session and the instructor, Boko. He managed to get the messages across while making it all fun and minimising stress. The dives south of Mnemba atoll were rich in sensations (strongish... More

Highly recommend for diving! Great instructors, small dive groups, and mnemba atoll has some nice drift dives and good variety.

This review is based on our snorkelling experience. For us, the snorkelling was very average. Our snorkel guide was always touching the coral and fish. I always thought that you should avoid touching coral at all costs. We just floated around hardly exploring the reef. I was more interested in the coral but the guide wanted to show us as... More

It was totally unexpected, because we went for a snorkeling trip, but we spotted some dolphins, so the guide just told us to jump off the boat and we were able to swim very close to the dolphins. It was great! Otherwise the waters around Mpemba island are just great for snorkeling. So many different kinds of fishes.

Excellent for those who don't dive frequently: friendly staff brief you properly, set up your equipment and are happy to answer any questions. This means you can relax and enjoy your dives. I would highly recommend OneOcean especially for learning or a refresher course

Great trip and staff. Our snorkel guide "Save/Safe" was a rockstar. Andrea even went out of his way to make sure our whole group could dive/snorkel and finish their Padi on the same day. Would definitely recommend.

Wanted to love the experience. Staff were very responsive by email and in person to provide information. They were very accommodating to provide a quick refresher since I hadn't dived in 1.5 years. As this was my first night dive, they were very thorough in all checks and ensured that I was always in the company of well trained staff.... More

Dear Jmark55, We are sorry that you were not entirely happy with your diving here at One Ocean.
