One Ocean: The Zanzibar Dive Center - Matemwe Beach Village was a great dive center for us. We are older and need a little extra help when we dive - Julie, Vera and the wonderful crew couldn't have been kinder or more supportive! Wish we could take them with us on every dive trip! The ocean life was interesting and... More

We went on a snorkeling trip to Mnemba Atoll for a half-day excursion. It took us 40 min in the back of a dalla-dalla to get to the diving boats on one of the worst roads I´ve seen. Overall the whole experience was disappointing. 1) During our first session we got really badly burned by jelly fish. Our guide just... More

Firstly, I'd like to say that the staff were very professional and friendly. The only criticism I have for the the staff is that they should have warned us that the trip to the dive site (mnemba island) is a horrible experience on a boat through rough sea while being pelted with spray. It took an hour from kiwengwa. It... More

We went for a snorkeling session at Mnemba atoll. The gear wasn't perfect (we could barely use our masks as the water was getting in). I might be the case for most the dive centers in Zanzibar. Still disappointing day.

I took a basic 1.5 hr SCUBA class the first day in the resort's swimming pool. The 2nd day, I went on the half day SCUBA and snorkeling boat trip with my 11 yr old son. We both snorkeled during the first 45 min dive time... swam with dolphins and saw so many different tropical fish. I SCUBA dived the... More

We were in Zanzibar November 2014 & I used One Ocean and thought the entire dive was good. We went past Mnemba into the most bluest water I have seen yet. The dive master Boca was really nice both above ground and underwater. I was with 2 other divers as we all had our PADI open water so overcrowding wasn't... More

We had no gear and let all in the store (included) Ok gear and we had no problems neither the group we traveled with. The dive boat was probably only 15 meters long, slow but the sea was high and rough and we probably could not have traveled faster than we did. The dive master informed us about the dive,... More

One Ocean is undoubtedly my favorite dive center in the whole world. Silvia at the Bluebay Resort and the team are outstanding. I've been diving with them for over 4 years and all I can day is that they are excellent. Safe, knowledgable, professional, friendly & funny. Most highly recommended!
