This beach offers a beautiful setting with the mountains behind it. I found it very quiet for most of the day, except when the fishermen brought in their catch in their colourful boats. Colourful fishermensboats on the sandy beach, palmtrees, no parkingfees, lots of fishing activities on the beach, nice view from a good restaurant, picturesque village. Interesting concentrationcamp (Salazar period - historic site) before entering town.

A nice sandy beach and bay, with busy fishing boats creating a colourful vista from the restaurant terrace. Food in the restaurant is plentiful, of good quality and value. The service is relaxed but friendly. Well worth a lunchtime visit

What a nice beach, warm water and wonderful time! Peaceful water, none to bothe. Just One restaurant in the place, but it's a nice one.

It is not the biggest, but is very clean, surrounded by coconut trees, a lot of activities and sport with local villagers, turtle nets, and a fishing village connecting to the left side of the beach.
