It's one of the best mountains in the NY area! Tons of trails! The only thing you need to watch out for is ice when it's very cold.

Gore Mountain had perfect skiing conditions, excellent views, friendly staff and more than enough skiing for everyone. No long lines or annoying checking of ski tags. The area dining was excellent.

A very good variety of runs oriented to the expert and advanced intermediate. Very good grooming and lift systems (no lines!).

Even on Presidents' Day weekend we never waited more than a few minutes for a lift. Glades were mostly closed, blue groomers were nice, wind was cold, blacks were good and mostly empty. Some flat areas and long flat traverses between areas, explainers the few number of snowboarders.

Powder, Powder and more powder from the ski-bowl up today! Other days we may not have powder, but we have cold, so we have snow. The folks at Gore know how to groom trails and the staff there is amazing! The crowds are minimal compared to many of the PA, NY and Vt mountains, which translates into less time waiting... More

I drive route 8 from Western NY to Vermont about 8 times a year, and always pass Gore on my way to Burlington, Stowe, Sugarbush, Smugglers Notch, or where ever. Every time I do, I make a mental note that I have to make an effort to stop there. This past weekend, after skiing Sugarbush on Saturday, I stopped at... More

There is something personal about the service you get at Gore. We have been a few times and someone has always wowed us. The skiing is solid with any crowds always being dispersed quickly across the many lifts and trails. The glades seem to at times struggle with snowfall amounts but when they are on they are wow. The only... More

We went on a Sunday and a Monday after the mountain receiving about 12 inches earlier in the week. Sunday was ok/decent but Monday was fantastic! No lines and the employees were friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to returning in the future.
