There is a food stand there but go down the road to the golf course for food. This is a good stop for the view of the river. We have traveled through here on bike a number of times. Very nice place to rest. Be careful of the drivers backing up into your path. The bike path goes right through... More

A great view of the Niagara River and Gorge from downstream of the Falls. We did it on the way back from Old Fort Niagara.

This attraction was hard to locate. No one seemed to be able to point us in the correct direction. But there is a parking area with a scenic overlook where you can enjoy a great photo opportunity of the whirlpool. From above you can see the boats that traverse the whirlpool and take some amazing photos. All I can say... More

Really this is a very nice lake and I heard very good information there about the speed of water and the rotating water , it is also very deep lake and good place for fishing , we couldn't have a good view for this lake because there was reconstruction there , you can spend there only 20 minutes maximum

Not far from the falls, as most sites are close together. Neat place to visit, but if you can't get there it want ruin your trip. There are other sites to see.

Great views, but the path down to the river was under construction. If you have plenty of time walk north to the stairs and then down to the path. You can then go south back to the Whirlpool. Watch the movie about the steamboat passage.

Used to do the gorge as a kid but didn't really do the trails. This time we did ALL the trails and all the stairs. Strenuous but amazing. A must do but you better be agile and strong!

If you want to visit here take the Over the falls tour so the guide can tell you about the area and interesting facts

A great vantage point to experience the Niagara River gorge. Trail has many steps, and some narrow areas. Make sure you are dressed for a moderately strenuous hike. The view is great and the trail connects to the Devils rapids trail that leads to Devils Rapids state park.

With a name with Whirlpool in it one would expect a rapid, tornado-like pool of water, but this really was not the case. We were underwhelmed. We stopped for about 10 mins. on our way to Old Fort Niagara. The viewing area is under construction.
