I am a strong believer of nature. It is a quite a sight to watch the river going about 20 mph... A lot of turbulous. WOW. It is a huge cliff/gorge. I think it is about 50 feet down. The park was eye-sore. I do hope the state of NY provide some funding.

How do those people get down to the whirlpool shoreline? Fantastic view of the rapids and the jet boats spinning in the whirlpool. Beautiful park. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and just sit and enjoy the view.

Enjoy the features and views in and from the park. Hike down the trail, requires good footing and balancing skills. Get close to the rapids. Relax On the rocks near the water. Be sure to drink sufficient clean water.

This was a nice quiet spot. The whirlpools were serene and beautiful, and a very interesting phenomenon to witness.

We viewed the whirlpool while on the US tour and the Canadian tour. The US tour gave us the better view. Up close jet boat excursions and a cable car ride above the whirlpool are available. The cable car ride originates from Canada.

This was fun to see. We didn't have a lot of time but glad we'd stopped. The whirlpools are very cool and easy to see. Looked as if there were some boat tours also. Would be a good idea for next time. Not sure if they came from the American or Canadian side.
