This is the post Niagara Falls river flowing to the Power Plant. Then this river will become a flow of river that is know to have prehistoric Sturgeon swimming. The elevation is so high no cell phone can communicate in the area.

Went on a guided tour, which I suggest everyone do! The power of this is so incredible! The tour takes you to the best viewing spot. The changing trees were beautiful!

This is such a pretty gorge, the water is just beautiful, the place is clean and nice. We were there during the week so it wasn't very busy.

We stopped here while headed to Fort Niagara. A beautiful view of the Niagara River at the Devils Hole bend. A nice walkway along the top of the canyon.

Just a quick stop, but could have been more. Several walking routes lead from here and had we had time we would have spent more than the 40 mins we were there. The views over the gorge are fantastic.

I wish I could drag all the tourist up and down the Niagara river. This is one of the sites that gets over looked when the falls get all the hype. Its perfect for hikers and drivers. You can take a jetboat out of Lewiston and REALLY get close. Enclosed or closed jetboats are available. It's cool to see where... More

We took a tour with Deb's Daredevils on Gray Line and one of our stops was Devil's Hole. Very interesting stop and view of the swirling waters below. Interesting story about the tram that crosses but only goes half way across. Also learned of the reason the waters swirl and what happens when the water is at different levels. You... More

Must be in shape! Lots and Lots of stairs and at times muddy trails, depending on weather. Well worth it!

Amazing view of Mother Natures power. There is a cable car that goes right over the river but we were restricted for time.
