This is about a 30min. boat ride that goes into the mist of the Horseshoe Falls. Lots of great photo ops, and a great way to view the falls, if you are unable to make it to the Canadian side. Very enjoyable. We did keep our blue ponchos as a souvenir, but you do have the option of recycling it... more

This is a must do. You can get a lot wet or a little. The choice is up to you and it depends on where you stand. I rolled up my pant legs, since I had on jeans and I didn't get too wet. I was afraid that my glasses would get too wet to see, so I pulled the... more

Don't miss doing this!!! But, apparently people hate tourists here. I got scolded by an older woman about going in between bars to get on the elevator instead of snaking around bars. There was no line....she wished I had hurt myself to learn a lesson. Hmmm, I am in my 30's. Not a good impression. Poor Service. Too bad she... more

If you are planning a trip to Niagra Falls, you have to experience this! After donning a poncho that is part of your ticket price, you get to ride on the Maid and get as close to the Falls as possible. You can actually feel the power of the Falls--truly a natural wonder! more

This is an old standby of the Falls, for good reason. The boat tour is the perfect opportunity to experience the Falls up close; multiple photo ops, multi-sensory experience. The whole attraction runs smoothly and the tour guides are extremely professional. We went with our two-year-old and four-year-old, who were probably a tad too young and a bit scared, but... more

Went from the American side in June of this year on a nice warm sunny day so the falls looked at their best. It was about 4PM in the afternoon and although there were plenty of people around there were absolutely no queues for tickets or to get on the boat.. The falls are spectacular and not to be missed... more

At $12.50 per adult and $7.50 per youth I expected more. It was quite boring and unnecessary. The view of the falls from above was just as beautiful. I didn't need to take a boat ride to see how wondeful the falls are. more

You must do Maid of the Mist, period. To go this close to the Horseshoe Falls, in such strong churning waters is one of the most amazing things we have ever done. You can't truly experience the falls or really know the power of them unless you do the MOTM (and Cave of the Winds). The boat gets you right... more

This might be one of the things that many people find corny because it's what thousands of tourists do. But forget all this and just go ahead, because this is truly great. The whole package is an experience, from everybody dressed in blue raincoats to the spray and the wind when you get close to the tremendous falls ... there's... more

We had a wait, but not long, maybe 5-10 min. You do get soaked, I had a messenger bag, where I carried flip flops to change in and out of from tennis shoes during the day. you should pick up a waterproof camera in the gift shop, $19.99 (27 pic) to take some photos up close, . at one point... more
