Went from the American side in June of this year on a nice warm sunny day so the falls looked at their best. It was about 4PM in the afternoon and although there were plenty of people around there were absolutely no queues for tickets or to get on the boat.. At $12.50 per adult and $7.50 per youth I expected more. It was quite boring and unnecessary. The view of the falls from above was just as beautiful. I didn't need to take a boat ride to see how wondeful the falls are. more

You must do Maid of the Mist, period. To go this close to the Horseshoe Falls, in such strong churning waters is one of the most amazing things we have ever done.
