on a large screen tells about the history and legends of the falls. kids liked it as well=that's always good. if you have time and $$, check it out. I saw it as part of the discovery pass which is offered at the park. Nice gift shop is located outside the theater.

As part of the Discovery Pass, the Niagara Adventure Theater is a worthwhile visit while at the New York Niagara Falls State Park. The theater is located inside of the building where you get tickets to the Cave of the Winds and The Maid of the Mist boat ride. If you bought a 2014 Discovery Pass for $36.50 ($38 in... More

The movie is slightly dated - in the beginning the footage appeared to have been a dusty clip right out of the 60s. There is bad vignetting, and the resolution is pretty low. As for the content itself, it describes stories of the legends behind the falls, and the people who either fell or walked across it. It's rather interesting... More

Hello and thank you for your recent review. Our film is indeed a historical film about the Falls and those people who dared to challenge it. I understand your feeling that our film is a bit dated but it is meant to be historical. The film shots that were filmed in this movie are shots we could never get again.... More

We prepaid our tickets and therefore have to see the show. The theater itself is not that comfortable and ticket cost was not reasonable but I did enjoy to see lots of information about the falls and the various personalities that made a good story for Niagara falls.

Since the Niagara Adventure Theater is included in the Discovery Pass, we went to see the movie. Nothing special about it. Definitely not worth the $$ if you are going to pay for it separately. For our trip, we purchased the Niagara USA Discovery Pass. This pass includes Niagara Adventure Theater, Aquarium of Niagara, Cave of the Wind, Niagara Gorge... More

You could not ask for a better introduction to Niagara Falls. The movie along with the commentary really set the mood to understand the past and what the future of the falls will be. Also you find out meany great facts. Like the falls are 12,500 years old. Or that the first person over the falls was a retired school... More

...It definitely wasn't what we expected. I echo what the other reviewer wrote back in 2013, that the movie is outdated. We aren't surprised that they are still showing the same show as they were over a year ago. It was $12/ticket for approx. 45 minute show and wasn't worth it. The views of the falls in the movie were... More

The theatre was great! It offered a movie that explained some of the history behind people trying to challenge the power of the falls. You will learn about the first woman to go over the falls in a barrel and also the many that have walked a tight rope over it! IF you like history and fun facts then you... More

Saw the movie, it's about some historical facts about the fall. It also focuses on a woman who requested to be put in a barrel and jumped off the fall. However, she died a few days later. Nothing special about the movie. If you need to kill time and have extra money, see it, otherwise spend time around the park... More
