Go here frequently. It's most spectacular in the spring or after a heavy rain. At these times I've parked my car in the street in front of the falls and gotten a free wash. :-)

This is a pretty waterfall, and an easy one to visit. If you are visiting Watkins Glen, it will only take you a few minutes to drive to Montour Falls and have a look. She-Qua-Ga Falls is in downtown Montour Falls. There are signs, and the falls are hard to miss. There is a small park at the base of... More

Nice restaurant close by, The Falls restaurant, quiet walk below or above, nice little town. Falls runs well in the spring or after a rain. Close to Watkins Glen and State parks there

See them by day and night. Bring a camera. Just a few blocks from Falls Motel. If you're not watching for them you could miss them even though they are large.

The water was flowing at the falls, but it would have been more impressive if the falls were gushing... I imagine they are more active in the early spring with the snow meltdown or after a good, heavy rainfall. But this isn't to take away from what you do see, which is a great waterfall with a long drop down.... More

We were traveling with a person unable to walk any distance. To find a falls only a few feet shorter than Niagra Falls within a block of the main street is indeed rare. Since it had rained in the area just the day before, the falls was in generous flow, and the sheets of water resembled a lacey curtain, covering... More

Really pleasant place to view some lovely falls without having to go on a strenuous hike. Just park and walk to the falls.

Beautiful waterfall with easy access. Has a nice open green in front of the falls with benches and a picnic table. They light the falls at night so it's always beautiful, but watch for the bugs!!

the peaceful sound of gently running water....but i would have also enjoyed it if it had more volume and was raging!
