Reasonably priced and excellent food. Located on the water. Outdoor seating available but the restaurant is seasonal and closes in October.

I know you have seen beautiful sunset's on different islands in the Caribbean but, you need to see the sunset on our own island, Long Island, NY. When you go out to Montauk for vaca or a quick get away, a must see is, the susnet's on Navy Road. Locals and tourist know this is a must do attraction when... More

The bay is much gentler than the ocean, great for swimming. The beach is rockier, which is not as nice. But the crowds are MUCH smaller, which s especially nice in the late afternoon. Bt you do need a local parking permit - nowhere to park fr the casual visitor.

Although the beach was rocky, the water was clean and calm.....it may have been a bit warmer than the ocean side, but a small breeze made the heat tolerable.....a must visit to Montauk.

Well used to go there when it was the Sunset Saloon. You could park anywhere it was low;key and pretty quiet. The restaurant looked like the inside of a ship! It was nice to go for a sunset drink sitting on the beach. It was more for families so kids could play there too!

This is a lovely park that has only been open a few years. There are wonderful, very interesting hiking and biking trails and there is a wonderful pier for fishing. There is always a place to park here even on the busiest summer weekend. I have seen many films and commercials being filmed here. The spot is just beautiful, right... More
