It's surprisingly a very beautiful place. The walk on the cliff around the Light house is exciting and gives a beautiful view of the sea. If the weather is clear it's an awesome view. But the fee for the light house is bit on the higher side. Ample parking space. But overall its an good one day activity.

The museum was really interesting, moreso than I expected! They have old pirate ship wreckage on display, antique photos of the lighthouse, interactive displays showing all of the area's lighthouses, and the walk up the spiral stairway to the top of the lighthouse is fun and rewarding. We also did a Seal Hike with the parks department that starts at... More

Also had a cute playground in the parking lot which was great for our toddlers since they were not permitted to climb to the top of the lighthouse but their older brother was so we split up and all had a fun experience!

Made the trip to Montauk worth it. Beautiful views and cute museum. Everyone is super friendly. Cost is kind of steep but it's something you HAVE to do if you take the ride out here.

worth the trip to make out as this is a big tourist attraction on the east end of Long Island. Try to get in no latter than mid afternoon, as they do shut the gates late afternoon as we found out the hard way.

Beautiful beach. This is the place to see an Ocean like an Ocean. The Atlantic is out there in all it's majesty. the waves are pretty thrilling. the lighthouse itself is a great place to visit. Good views to both sides. Overall, a good place to visit during the weekends. Try out the summer shops and restaurants nearby.

I visited the lighthouse on Thanksgiving. It was a sunny and chilly day, but not as windy as forecasted. From East Hampton to the point, there is only one lane on each side. Luckily, there was no traffic. I enjoyed the driving on a road that is surrounded by pine trees and reefs. The lighthouse was closed. To tell you... More

Beautiful views, pathway well laid out, and you can walk for a few hours or stroll and sit on the many benches and enjoy watching the ocean.

The lighthouse is 5 miles from town and is worth the ride. There is a fee to enter the lighthouse which houses the museum. There is a parking fee as well. There is a restaurant separate from the lighthouse where you can get a light lunch and enjoy the views. Nice to take a walk down the path to the... More
