If you are going in the off-season or early in the day you will likely be fine, but the lines can get very long and there are a lot of little kids! Great for photo ops, all you crazy instagrammers :) Go at sunset and have fun!

Views from the lighthouse are breathtaking! There us a trail from the lighthouse that leads to a pebble beach on which you can sit and stare out into the beautiful horizon! There are huge boulders people climb that lead around the lighthouse. Worth the visit!

This is our second visit but queues prevented us reaching the top this time around. Instead we didn't pay to go in but took a stroll around the lighthouse which was great fun. A path takes you to a secluded stone beach which was nice to sit and admire the view, skimming stones into the water. Keep on and you... More

Went with a large group. Children of various ages. We had a great time. Of course the view is breath taking. I enjoyed walking around the area. It was a fun day!

More beautiful ad historic than I imagined. Amazing photo ops and an all around great experience. After 4:00 there is free parking. It was $9 per person for access to the lighthouse, which included entry into the actual lighthouse. Walk down the hill to the deck overlooking the bluffs. Incredible scenery. The lighthouse and it's property are well kept. Friendly... More

Best seen from the beach at a distance. In my opinion not worth the entrance. I liked the view of the lighthouse from the beach, but the line to get to climb the stair to the top of the light house was just ridiculous.

The place is great in a nice elevated ground. A place to watch the Atlantic Ocean full of fishing boat as they try to catch big fish. The drive to Montauk on a Saturday is slow due to traffic at 495. Looks like everyone is heading to the beach on Saturday. Luckily we missed the heavy downpour.

View a piece of American history. Worth the entrance fees. However, I felt it a bit unnecessary to be charged for both parking and entrance fees to the LIGHTHOUSE….use a credit towards admission fees from parking fees.
