The zoo is a part of the Millbrook School, a coed boarding high school. The zoo slowly grew out of the private collection of a biology teacher and today is an accredited member of the American Zoo Association. It is small, but has a number of rare and exotic species thanks to their participation in captive breeding programs. It's a... More

A lovely boutique zoo with many endangered species.such as lemurs, arctic foxes, red pandas, emus, otters, bobcats, sikh deer and herons in a quiet rural setting in Hunt Country. Children and adults will enjoy the zoo. A donation is requested. 10 minutes to Village of Millbrook for shops and restaurants. Not a lot of walking and seating available for a... More

I had visited with my children and now returned with my granddaughter. Perfect for her not at all overwhelming and the amount of walking was perfect for her (age 4)! The otters are great and she really was able to see the animals and really enjoy.

This accredited zoo was founded by a much loved teacher at Millbrook School, who found himself the recipient of injured and sick animals which he managed to cure. Now the zoo, set on the exquisite Millbrook School campus offers a view of over a hundred animals both native to the area and a few endangered species in a rambling naturalistic... More

I went to this zoo with my cousin and her 19 month old son. It is a nice zoo for small children, but I wouldn't recommend it for children above the age of 12. It was basically just something for us to do and to give the little guy some stimulation for the day, even though he had no idea... More

Great place to see and get close to some unusual animals (lemurs , for example). The zoo does not have any food area so be sure to bring your own meals/snacks.

Trevor Zoo is a very special place. As part of Millbrook School it is the only zoo, possibly in North America, where high school students get hands on experience caring for the animals. The exhibits include indoor and outside meandering along lovely paths. One can spend hours or just a quick visit. There is no admittance fee but donations to... More

Thank you so much for the live feed of the heron nest. I have been watching it with great anticipation of the eggs hatching. The first 2 chicks are so cute and watching this heron care for these babies is wonderful. She is building up the sides of the nest to provide more safety for them as they grow. She... More

We were looking for something to do with our toddler who loves animals, so we decided to check out this zoo we had heard about. It's a very nice little zoo. You can tell all the animals are well cared for and there are a good amount of them to see. We saw lemur, emu, a wallaby, alpaca, marmoset, owls,... More
