Having never been apple picking, I couldn't wait for my kids to be old enough to bring them. I finally fulfilled my lifelong dream of tasting an apple freshly picked off the tree - wonderful! There are different parts to the Harbes Family Farm. My family decided to make a weekend of it and stayed in a local inn for... More

We visited recently for apple picking and this orchard was fun and friendly. We did apple picking, rode the tractor (not the hay ride) and stayed for lunch. Things were somewhat spread out and it would have been helpful if there were a map or other signposting, but it was easy enough to figure out for the most part. Would... More

Our autum getaway every October, is this beautiful and fun farm. From punkin picking to hayrides, from sweet corn to wine tasting and other fun activities, there's a little bit of everything for everyone! We love coming to this family farm, and it has become a family tradition now after 3 years.

Harbes has great corn but I have to say I found the prices to be high. I live in Bucks County PA and our farm stands have great produce also but our prices are much lower!!! I guess with the influx of visitors they can charge outrageous prices. Would not go back just for great corn!!

My husband, our 1.5 year old son and I went to the Hamptons for a weekend trip. It also happened to be Father's Day and as a last minute idea, we decided to spend that Sunday at Harbes Farm. We picked some strawberries, played in the children's area, and just enjoyed a relaxing day eating and drinking while listening to... More

This is one great place to buy your flowers, fruits & veggies. There is something going off for every growing season. I have been using the Harbes Farm stand for many years, Long before there was such a thing as e-mail in my life. I have yet to be disappointed. I enjoyed taking my grandson to play in the children's... More

Wonderful produce market, with great roasted corn. But the wines were nothing to write home about -- the ten-year-old cabernet reserve was good, but the rest were fairly acid and immature.

We were there this weekend and it was a cute place. They have a corn maze, hayrides, a wine tasting barn(u can also purchase glass or bottles), snack shack, pony rides, bouncy house and other things for the kids to play with and in. It's western themed at the farm in jamesport. Only thing I thought was a little high... More

There was a time, years ago, when our closest friends would object to our choice for an autumn day out in the country: "Why go so far, for pumpkins and Halloween fun?". In fact most people were stopping at Lewin Farms, or at other places available on the first five or six miles of Sound Avenue. Not anymore. Fine: I... More
