Okay. First winery I have ever visited. It was an awesome day so they were packed. I give them an A for atmosphere. I gie them a B for service and a C for value and wine....but with that being said, we had a good time.

We visited many vineyards today and this was our favorite. It is a relaxing atmosphere with good tasting wine. The people who worked there were very friendly, didn't rush us through our tastings, and answered all our questions. There was ample seating and the barns had a lot of character. I don't know why people are bringing kids to the... More

I have been visiting Shinn for years and have always loved their organic wines. Unlike most North Fork vineyards, they have very good red wine (I love the wine they call Wild Boar Doe) and their wine making practices are environmentally friendly. This vineyard had a great vision. However, every time I visit, the owners become more and more ornery.... More

A friend told me to be sure to visit Shinn Winery. We could not believe just how bad the wine was. It was served warm. The sherry had actually turned. It was obvious that the staff was not aware of what they were serving. This stop was a big disappointment.

We loved Shinn Estates Vineyards. It's a very laid back, natural- Zen type environment. Despite other reviews, we found the service laid back, but adequate. We opted for the wine tasting and selected sparkling brut to start, followed by a Pinot Blanc 2013 unfiltered white (which was surprisingly clear and very tasty) then a cabernet franc reserve 2012, finished with... Wine was wonderful, fully organic, and the tour was informative and fascinating. On-site B&B is on our next trip's itinerary. Owners are former NYC restaurant owners.

A nice little vinyard and B&B to visit. Gound this on a tourist map and decided to go based on the varieties of wine. Excellent wine and staff. Off the main rd of 25. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Will return.

I arrived with 15 people with a Reservaton they accepted, and the nasty owner and staff came out and said theye would not accept us. Then they let us come in and we tried some of the wines and they were terrible. The place was filthy and small. I rather eat raisems then drink wine at the shine winery. Worst... More
