Was on my list to visit and if I had missed it, I would have been sorry. Actually purchased a case of wine to ship home. Very cool vibe here and the wine is excellent!
We were 7 professional women, arrived on time with our limo for our stated reservation and were not served. I had some questions as to why. The owner stated he felt we had too much to taste already. He delivered this incorrect message in a very unprofessional and intimidating manner. My feeling is that would not have happened if that... More
My girlfriends took me by limo to the vineyards for my 50th birthday, something I have always wanted to do. We stopped at a few and had so much fun, live music, lots of others celebrating around us, just a great time. Well then the final stop was Shinn. It was sooooo quiet and the staff automatically wanted to seat... More
Very comfortable farmhouse in a quiet location. Great farm fresh breakfasts served with eye appeal. Lovely porch and winery to enjoy their own wines with cheese and crackers.
I have been to Shinn every year for the last seven years. I was very excited to bring my brother and his wife, who both live in the UK. We had my neice (10) and son (4) in tow. The first thing I noticed upon arrival is that they had expanded on their outside space, but it was not in... More
Wow the tasting room is so cozy and warm love the layout. feels like you are entering the winemakers home. Do not miss it.

My husband and I visit the east end a few times a year, and are wine club members at three different vineyards. In recent years, Shinn was among our top picks, despite limited seating accommodations... More
We went to this vineyard one Sunday afternoon and had a very nice time. The owner David was very friendly, and we hung out there a long time enjoying the wine and conversation. Their wines were very good, and the outdoor seating/ bar area was quiet and a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
If you're looking for an absolutely relaxing wine tasting experience, Shinn Estate Vineyards is the place to be! They offer small plates on the weekend to be paired with their wines (I went with the chicken tacos and lemon roasted olives). I was was happy to find out that the grapes are grown organically.
If you are visiting the North Fork, I highly recommend Shinn Estate Vineyards. Shinn Estate Vineyards offers indoor and outdoor seating. My group of five chose to be seated indoors. The indoor seating had a cozy cabin vibe to it which I loved. I did a tasting of four of their different wines. I enjoyed each and every one of... More
