My boyfriend and I went for a quick over night to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in the porch side room. We were the only guests so we got to check out other rooms porch side was best by far! Biggest bathroom! So comfy and spacious. Shared living space was amazing . Complimentary wine and cheese . Tasting room staff... More

Definitely avoid this stop on your trip! My wife and I w another couple made the mistake of visiting this winery. The owner literally screamed at us because our children were walking on the stones on the grounds outside. They were being supervised and not making a scene or any undue noise. The owner hates children. Stay away unless you... More

We come here a lot when out at the vineyards. The wine is very good and the staff is very welcoming. We bring our pup all the time and they always seem to remember him. They recently expanded the outdoor area and it is even more relaxing then before. Tucked behind the Inn, this Vineyard is a must for anyone... More

Slightly off the one of the main roads for wine tasting, we found this place to be a friendly and relaxed place to enjoy the local wares.

We read about their interest in sustainable farming and wanted to visit this winery on a recent tour of long island wineries the owner led a tour through the vineyards. Although we arrived a few minutes late they let us join the tour and buy our tickets later. She was very informative and passionate about what she does. They have... More

Right in the middle of the wine region, Shinn Estate Vineyards offers a simple tasting experience in a sustainable, environmental friendly vineyard. The wines are delicious and they also ave four rooms in the Estate Farmhouse that are fantastic.

I should be clear that I really enjoy the wine at Shinn-it's very good. However, I have been several times and the owner of the vineyard is downright rude and inhospitable, which is unfortunate. So odd considering that this same owner used to own a restaurant in the West Village years ago that was also quite good. I am baffled... More

We made sure we stopped at Shinn on our wine tour because we knew it was on the smaller end of the wineries in the region, and we wanted to see something different. . The setting is quaint and comfortable, and the staff makes you feel right at home. We didn't try the food, but the wines were excellent!
