Beach is nice. It is a Town of Oyster Bay resident beach which makes it better. Wish they would improve the rest rooms.

Beautiful water and soft sand! great restaurant on the bay side. a bit pricey, but worth it! Bay side has great play grounds for kids and calm waters perfect for a family.

Nice bar with some great drinks, walk up restaurant or quick take out, the 9/11 memorial , a kids splash park , great wide beach and a lot of parking . We were the guests of a local so I am not sure of the charges. We were there on a Tuesday and it was a little cloudy so some... More

There not many custard shops left these days but Koors Brothers in still around. We were in Cape May this past week and there was a Koors shop in the Washington Street mall - what a pleasant surprise. As usual, on a warm night, the place was packed but they had a lot of help behind the counter so the... More

In addition to the great review, I would add that the Bay side has a great splash park for the younger children with many climbing and water activities. This beach requires Town of Oyster Bay residency.

If you live in the Town of Oyster Bay NY, then TOBAY is for you. 2 Beautiful Beaches on the bay and on the ocean, clean and pristine. The beach has a marina, play grounds food service and plenty of space to spread out. It is almost back to normal after all the repairs from hurricane Sandy in 2012. Check out... More

A great place to visit especially during summer - kids can dip in the water on the bay side or surf on the ocean side - Long Island beaches are great

Ocean or Bay, great place to play. The younger set tends to gravitate to the eastern side of the Ocean area and the families gather more to the west and bay side. Two restaurants with cocktails on the bay side and lots of things to keep the young kids happily occupied. A great beach!

The TOB Tobay beach is a great find. If you can't stand the sketchy crowds of Jones Beach, you may want to pay the exorbitant weekday fees to get in because the beach has two great restaurants, and a great snack bar right on the ocean that's huge. The beach itself is super clean and made up of middle class... More

Off season take a ride and watch amazing kite surfers do their tricks. Great bay and ocean beaches. Walk miles on flat sandy beach and marvel at nature. Long Island has many amazing beaches and this one is up there with the best.
