I enjoy the size of the park that surrounds Onondaga Lake. The East trail is open all year. The West and West extension trails are open but not plowed in the winter. It's a great place to go running!

The Onondaga Lights on the Lake festival is the largest Christmas light show in the northeast. This is drive through the park is 45 minutes of Christmas spectacular. It is best when there is a lite snow falling. Admission is $10 per car. A definite must see.

The walking and biking trails are wonderful. Great place to go as a single or with family or friends. Perfect for all ages. After your walk, sit on a bench and watch the gorgeous sunset and feed the geese. Also fun in the winter for Lights on the Lake. A must see once the snow falls.

My sister lives in Liverpool, so we decided to visit Onondaga Lake. We were going to walk on the paths around the lake, but due to time we just found a nice area with a bench to sit on while her little boy threw rocks in the lake, then visited the playground. The area is really nice, and the playground... More

I ran in this park this morning and found it peaceful, pleasant and flat. The view was nice and the whole area aesthetically pleasing.

Every time I'm back in the Syracuse area, I always make time to get my walks in along the walkways in Liverpool next to Onondaga lake. It's a safe and serene place to enjoy a brisk walk.

Only there for short visit. My sister an I rented a surrey bike for a half hour. It was different. they had many types of bikes that could be rented for various amounts of time. I would visit again with other out of town guests.

While visiting the Syracuse area we wanted to visit this park after reading some of the reviews. It looks great in photographs and does have a beautiful view of the lake but in person it is hard to get past the fact that they have a major problem with goose poop. Poop on the grass, poop on the walkway, poop... More

My family and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a leisurely 16 mile bike ride along the lake. The road is wide enough that you don't feel cramped, and there are some beautiful shady paths a little further in. Along the way there are little stops with shaded benches and bike racks if you need to take... More

I will never step foot in this place again. Such a shame. Parents just dump their kids off in the playground and let them do "whatever". My kids were attacked by 2 children twice the size of them. Never again.
