The park was fairly covered in goose poop early in the morning, as we killed time before the mall opened. Lots of joggers and a yoga class. Water in lake was full of weeds and appeared stagnant. One of the less impressive Finger Lakes.

It's about the park, it's about the lake. The park is perfect from all angle. The lake is gorgeous - I would say the best lakes around, very relaxing. There are a lot of places to walk around. This place is very family friendly. There is a separate park areas for the kids. This lake side park is a nice... More

My wife and I and our dog visited Onondaga Lake Park on a Saturday in early July 2015. We spent all of our time at the park on the East Side of the park. This side has a butterfly garden, playground, visitor center, marina and yacht club. There are 2 trails on this side of the park. The Shoreline Walking... More

The west side of the lake is less busy with more shade, and at times, more mosquitoes. The east side of the lake is where the playground and picnic tables are. The entire park is a great place for exercise.

What a beautiful park! Lots of areas to walk, run, play, picnic, feed ducks, or just sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed it! Clean and well kept.

It's really pretty but the waters polluted horribly. I would never swim in Onondaga lake despite the recent news that it's safe. I have driven by this stinky lake for many years. I wouldn't be caught dead in this polluted sewer lake

I love the park....from one end to the other. My only complaint is I wish someone would/could control the amount of goose poop on the walkway! Terrible. Also, I do not know why people don't take their trash with them. I take a plastic bag with me & pick up some of it as I go along.

This park wraps around Onondaga Lake. It Has a 7 mile bike/ walking paved trail. The eastside of the lake is more cleared out while the westside of the lake is a little more rustic. There are lots of places to sit and food places nearby ( white water Pub is my favorite). The new section has some great vistas
