Lily Dale is a small community, about 45 minutes south of Buffalo, inhabited only by Mediums/Spiritualists. During our recent Christmas visit, I made an appointment with one of the Mediums and was intrigued not only by the quirkiness of the residential area but also by the quiet calmness that prevailed. Granted, it was the day after Christmas, so all was... More

It's an over-priced tourist trap for those wanting "readings" linking you to dead people. If you really need to spend your money on a hoax, go for it, but reality is a better option

If you are looking for peace, peace for yourself, peace for others, peace for the world...Lily Dale is the place to be. This is a spiritualist community in upstate New York. Many of the residents are mediums, but you will also find healers and others who share a message of love, acceptance and understanding. It doesn't matter where you are... More

I honestly did not know what to expect when my friend suggested visiting Lily Dale. It was wonderful! It's a quaint area with several spots to sit and contemplate and relax. Monika's Delights had delicious sandwiches, salads and soups. I highly recommend eating there. Lodging is available on site. We did not stay in Lily Dale, so I do not... More

Again had a great weekend here. As usual, we got caught up in the myriad of activities and did not have as much down time as planned. This quirky, magical place is so peaceful and refreshing. The many roaming, happy and well cared for animals (birds, squirrels, dragonflies, cats and dogs), the water, the flowers and all of the fragrances... More

Love it here. It is so quiet and peaceful. Could stay forever. Love walking up the little streets and looking at the lovely houses. I also love the different speaker and events. And to sit and look out on the lake in the late afternoon is so tranquil.

Since my family visits the Chautauqua, NY, area every summer, we decided to spend one of our precious vacation days visiting Lily Dale this year. Since I knew nothing about it, I had no preconceptions. After paying our entrance fee, we parked and gathered at the auditorium for the afternoon show, just as we had been advised to do. We... More

I was in Lily Dale in June 2015. I stayed at the Maplewood Hotel- which was a trip back in time. ( for more on this hotel search this website.) If you go in for psychic stuff, this is your place. I am open minded and so I tried a psychic who was recommended to me. The reading was vague... More
