This place has a wide selection of goodies. The fudge is what I call "Beach fudge", that is thick, soft and tasty. You cannot go wrong stopping in here and indulging.

we have always visited the store in Wilmington. My family was there first thing in the morning on 8/16 and we spent a good amount of money..the chocolate is some of the best we have had and always go back, but the staff could be a little friendlier and at least respond to the customer. this visit the staff was... My son and I were hungry and wanted a morning snack. Chocolate isn't that healthy, I know, but that is what we chose. We each got a peanut butter cup. How disappointing! The peanut butter was disgusting - separated and had NO flavor! There was too much chocolate to even get a hint of the taste of peanut butter. We... More

If you love chocolate, you must visit this place. It smells wonderful when you walk in. There are traditional gift shop items. The chocolate candy options are immense and priced well enough. We will return!

Chocolate covered peeps were absolutely amazing. Wish they would go the extra step and avoid cross contaminating for Gluten Free shoppers!

Their chocolates are absolutely wonderful, if they were cheaper they'd be getting the full 5 stars. (I know their prices reflect the fact that they're homemade, but I just would have been able to buy more if it were cheaper.)

Opening the door to this shop is like stepping into a little corner of heaven. Great chocolate and wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend going to the shop in Wilmington instead of Lake Placid if the option is available to you.

We stop by here at the Candy Man in Lake Placid and their other location in Wilmington, NY. Great fresh chocolate selection as well as stuffed animals and shirts for Kids. Definitely a tourist attraction but the quality of the candy is good but eat quickly (or refrigerate) as it melts very quickly in the warm weather. For em, its... More

This place has some delicious chocolates made right on the premises. My husband and I have tried several varieties and we keep going back to our favorites - the milk chocolate coconut for him and the dark chocolate pecan caramel delights for me. We liked them so much that we ordered some to be delivered to us at home after... More
