Having arrived by bus the gorge stood towering above us casting an awesome shadow as far as the eye could see. Trekking up to the summit of the gorge was one hell of a climb but worth it; passing goat herds, donkey trains all driven by Nomads allowing us to take pictures for a couple of Dihrams. The view from... More

We visited on a Sunday so the gorge was very crowded with locals and tourists alike. Also the road in was undergoing extensive repairs so there were many hold ups and it was very dusty. The tip is not to stop where the hotels are in the gorge, but keep going and enjoy the walks further up, where things were... More

The drive into the gorge was itself very beautiful. Make sure to trek through as much of the gorge as possible to enjoy its spectacular scenery. While the gorge is beautiful, if you're short on time and deciding between the Todra and the Dades, go for the Dades as it is far more spectacular.

We did a great hikingtour through the Todra Gorge and enjoyed being the only tourists on the whole 3,5 hours walk ;)

The Todra Gorge is indeed an impressive gorge where the sun the rock can provide beautiful colours. The large road that goes through the gorge takes away a bit of the charme. We chose to do a 3h hike throgh the gorge and then after the gorge on the left side of the road up the hill, over the pass... More

OTT commercialisation. Hawkers and 'guides' everywhere. Drive 5Km further north for solitude to enjoy the site.

30 minutes is all you really need, it's a gorge.... nothing special. There are a few vendors lining the road, guides available to "guide"you.... not necessary, just follow the road. It would be a good spot if you'd been sitting in a tour bus for hours to get out and stretch your legs, but ZZZZZZZZ.

I've visited Todra and Dades gorges in my trip. They both have distinct charm, and I really enjoyed the view.

This gorge we visited with a rented car. In the beginning it was quite busy but after about 5 kms it is very quiet and you can still drive more than 20 kms through the gorge. Also you can meet there shepards and other local berber people. A very nice experience anyway. But, in the beginning where the busses and... More

It is a nice, tall gorge with hotels in it. People use it for rock climbing as well. It is a pity that some of the walls have graffiti on them.
