Amazing beach for swimming, rafting, boating, and para sailing. If you are going there on weekend, then plan your trip this way. 1) reach early morning on Saturday around 10 or on Friday night. 2) go to para-sailing which will cost $75 per person 3) then do beach swimming and snacking and go to top of the world golf resort.... We love Lake George. I came here as a child in the 70's and now I bring my children here. It's a great family town. There are plenty of ice cream parlors, arcades, restaurants and cute souvenir shops. There is a lot of energy. It is a great place to go to on a summer night. More

We are fortunate to live on beautiful Lake George during the summer and fall months. It is a 32 mile long, crystal clear, spring fed lake --nestled in the Adirondack Mountains. It has tons of family activities. We especially enjoy the boating and water sports. We play "Pirates" w/a paddle-wheel boat, "The Minnie Ha-Ha", every evening at 7:30. We have... More
