This is our second year taking a mid-summer road trip to Lake George. The best part of our trip bith times has been our day spent at Great Escape. Staff are friendly, admission is inexpensive and the park is CLEAN. more

It was great. Kids and adults love it both. The rides are friendly yet their are daring rides for the thrill seekers. There is a lot shaded areas which is nice. Watch the diving show. The kids will love the funnel cake. Enjoy more

We went to Great Escape on August 12, 2009. It was warm enough to enjoy the water park too. Two teenage girls and dad (me). We all had fun. The lines weren't bad either. There are enough rides and water park attractions to keep you busy all day. And the "pirate" diving show was better than I expected! more

When I was a kid, I loved going to Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom (called Storytown, when I was a little girl, then just Great Escape) They have made many changes since those days, but I am not really certain if I can say better changes though. The park to me is a little run down, there are still somethings... more

We own 3 "Big Six Passes" This allows us six visits per season and extra events. Bargain! Big Foot in the front is a smaller drop tower but fun. Two options fast launch or fast down. Both are good. Keep moving to the rides you like and do not get side tracked by the distractions (shops, eateries, etc.) German Alpine... more

We spent a week in LG from 08/10/2009 thru 08/16/2009. We took advantage of the buy one, get 6 days included ticket on line, which was $ 41.00 per person. This was a GREAT bargain. We were there EVERY day of our trip at one point or another. It is a great park for ALL ages. As a previous poster... more

if you pay attention, you can go there and not get ripped off! about a block south of the park is a $5 parking lot. get your hand stamped and you can re-enter the park. going to eat at one of the places outside is cheaper, much better and only a very short walk, or, keep a cooler with sandwiches... more

Attended this attraction yesterday with three 8 year olds and I will never, ever return. The crowds, heat and competing music booming from speakers througout, paled in comparison to the insulting prices for everything from parking to food. Truly shocking. They charge $20 for parking "near" the entrance, $10 for slightly more distant, parking, $3.19 for a medium cup of... more

A little confusing, went seeing that the splashwater kingdom was indoors, found out it was outdoors and not that many water rides. MUST GO EARLY - as rides become hours to wait for when busy. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging for parking a fee of $ 10, but what do you expect from a big corporate company... more
