If you love Lucy you'll love the museum. We thought it would be bigger but after 90 minutes we had seen all there was to see. More videos -- either personal or the TV show -- might have added to the visit. The location in Jamestown was very convenient and street parking was free.

My husband and I recently visited this museum, capping off a visit to the Chautauqua Institute. As others have stated, the museum consists of two parts: one devoted to the TV show, and the other to the lives of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Growing up in the 1950's, I particularly enjoyed the memorabilia dedicated to the TV series, when... More

What a privilege to visit the hometown and museum of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Everything we've seen on TV for years or decades comes to life to see for real in Jamestown. From the two museum areas, to the five paintings on the sides of the buildings, to her childhood home, to her grave. What an amazing day. We... More

A shout out needs to go to Donna K in Toronto Canada for her mention of our pies in her post about the festival - which lead me to this site! This was the first year that AgriAmerica LLC participated in the Lucy Fest. We were stationed right next to the grape stomping of which I actually participated in! It... More

If you are big fan of I love Lucy, this is a must and does not disappoint. The duel attraction is unique in as much as it is like two different museums. One very informative of both the hometown Lucy and Desi's tie to the famous rum family. The second half is the sets used in the tv show. You... More

I have been to this museum twice so far and I love it. I grew up watching "I Love Lucy" so it felt like I was walking through my childhood. I find it best to walk through the Lucy-Desi Museum first (on the left) and then to go into the Desilu Studios. The Lucy-Desi Museum has a lot of pieces... More

If you are in the Jamestown NY area, you will have to stop in and see the Lucy-Desi museum. There are 2 parts to the stop. One focuses on the career end of both of them, and the other on their personal lives. Apparently, their 2 children submitted so much of the information and items that are so familiar to... More

The "center" consists of two museums and gift shops in adjacent storefronts in downtown Jamestown. The first museum contains the most memorabilia from the TV show including replicas of several sets (the Manhattan apartment, the Beverly Palms Hotel). Videos run continuously showing highlights from some of the shows. The second museum contains some more memorabilia such as a car that... More

If you have watched the I love Lucy Tv program then this museum will bring back memories. This museum follows Lucy's timeline from childhood to her death. From pictures, costumes, clothing, personal items and her 7 Emmy awards it was very cool to see these items. Lots of stuff about Ricky too. Even her 72 Mercedes is there. As you... More

I am someone who grew up watching Lucille Ball on I Love Lucy on Nick at Nite with my grandmother. I loved being here. From getting to learn about her childhood, how she got into acting, to seeing her different sets and filming a Vitameatavegamin commercial, you will love being here.
