Buttermilk falls state park is a beautiful park with gorges that will take your breath away. Some areas are moderate to easy and some get a little harder with a ton of hills to climb. But Upper and Lower falls are a must if you are in the area.

The falls was beautiful. Entrance fee was $7 per vehicle. Parking was plentiful. The walk through the gorge is less than 2 miles roundtrip.

Beautiful falls. You can pay for parking here ($7.00 per carload) and then use the ticket for all of the other state parks in the area on the same day.

Best not to do this in the mid-afternoon when it will be most crowded. In the mornings of a hot summer day, perfect. The trails are very well-marked and relatively easy for folks of all ages. There will be a few wet areas but nothing to worry about too much. Beautiful views of foliage, the falls, woodlands.

All time favorite and an annual must do. Strenuous hike up but worth every second of the journey. Also recommend Treman and Ithaca Falls. They will all take your breath away!

Lovely, lovely but crowded, crowded. We gave up when we could not park. Bring chairs- the picnic tables go quickly.

Fantastic park with fantastic falls, nature and wildlife. Easy to find and to get around. Quite strange to se all that nature actually in a city or close too.

Fun park and great swimming area. Dog friendly along the trails. Very safe and clean. Great stop and very close to other parks.

Be sure to swing in, the place is beautiful and it isn't a strenuous walk whatsoever. You have to see all the falls in town that you can.
