During our short vacation at Cayuga Lake, wife and I had fun spending a couple of hours here on a Sunday morning before heading home to North Jersey. Really was not what I expected; I thought it would only consist of fruits and vegetables for sale. But it was far more diverse, having stands selling local goods, food stands, including... More

Best empanadas we ever tasted at the Tibetan booth. Try the soap at 17th Century Suds. Smells great; I love their soaps and always load up when I am visiting from LI. Clove spice, peppermint and eucalyptus among my faves.

The Ithaca Farmer's Market is an amazing mix of offerings, with something for everyone. Interesting ready to eat foods from many cultures? Covered. Organic produce? Covered. Vegan treats? Covered. Finely crafted art in pottery, textiles, photography, sculpture, calligraphy and more? More than covered. Expect a lot of awe-struck tourists (like me), gracious and enthusuastic vendors, delighted children and happy dogs.... More

Great local market with a lot of farms and vendors. Many different selections of food to choose from to make it a great morning breakfast area.

We shopped here to stock up on picnic items prior to a day spent at the local state parks. The market itself isn't too big, but I really appreciated the comfortable setting and clear sense of community. Stalls covered a range of produce, prepared and artisan foods, cheese, bread, crafts and fast food. Generally not more than 2-3 of any... More

When I visit the Fingerlakes during the summer I make this one of my stops. The vendors are friendly, the food great and it is nice seeing all the artisans.

Ithaca Farmers Market is quite an experience that everyone seems to enjoy inspite of the weather. The only downside is the parking, but if one is patient you can find a parking spot. All the 'merchants' are local people, selling local produce, art, prepared food, plants, and flowers. There is a flower stall in which one can tell how much... More

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to the farmer's market for the food, products and people watching! We bought some natural sea salts, honey and shampoo which we love and use regularly. I actually started using the shampoo I bought at this market and am now a customer thanks to visiting the market and connecting with the creator of... More
