The Farmers Market is at Steamboard Landing on weekends. Not easy to find and unpaved parking. But worth it. Plenty of vendors - farm fresh produce, prepared foods, and crafts. Food is of many ethnic varieties, including Cambodian, Sri Lankan, Cuban, Vietnamese, etc. Recently tried the pitas from the vendor at one end - really excellent. Entertainment includes various types... More

Went to the farmers market on a Sunday. Looked like all Ithaca was there. It is rather small, but a nice experience. Try the barbecued pizza and the blueberries cupcakes, all home made. You can plan 1-1:30 hrs for the spot.

You won't be disappointed. Great selection of fresh produce. Lots of lunch options. Find a spot on the dock to have lunch. Lovely few hours just wondering around the market, unique selection of vegetables, artisanal crafts. Products are local and goods are made from local resources. Great craftsmanship. Amazing bakery items. Love this place, hidden gem. Nothing to indicate from... More

Nice and diversed market. Great for locals on foot, boat or know the tricks on parking. Police have not figured how to direct traffic in and out. Took 40 minutes to get out of lot. Add that to 20 minute to get a spot and you can partially understand my score. Markets are everywhere now and this one is nice... More

If Baltimore's Inner Harbor were a farmer's market, it would look just like this, filled with culinary delights. We could stay forever.

and if you don't want organic goodness, there's incredible people watching, a boat trip on the lake, music of all sorts, jewelry, pottery, woodworking and textiles. Oh My. But the best thing, I think is the people watching

Better to call this place a local atrisans market, artisan food and crafts. Must try the cambodian lunch, after you have had the breakfast burrito ( look for the long line of locals) :-) Most products are organic with eye towards sustainable farming/living etc... Modern day hippies who know how to make handmade products that rival standard at reasonable prices.

What a great venue!! Worthy to go see even if you have to travel a bit. Food options from all over the world along with a very eclectic gathering of produce, wine tastings, artwork and numerous other items.

Farmer's markets - I love them! The Ithaca Farmer's Market is no different, and it has the added charm of being situated on the waterfront so you have a relaxing view just outside the market - the perfect place to relax, grab a bite, and just enjoy a gorgeous summer day. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially... More

If you're looking for that small town feel, definitely go to the Ithaca Farmers' Market. Definitely come here hungry. You'll find a ton of different cuisines such as Cuban, Turkish, Cambodian, and Organic/Farm-to-table selections. Besides all the different veggies and food that you can buy and eat, you can purchase wines (of course), handmade leather and cloth bags, paintings, and... More
