As with all things Cornell, the Plantations were amazing! They have every type of plant imaginable (probably not, but they still have LOTS of species). Nearly every plant has an identification tag, but they're a little hard to read. The beds are nicely laid out and beautiful. Staff are very willing to help. Overall, the Plantations are beautiful and have... More

A must see!! There are even tours, an hr long, every day at noon. Flowers and gardens galore. Laid out to perfection. Great gift shop plus nice area outside to sit and enjoy an ice cream or cool drink.

The plantations at Cornel is a very pretty and relaxing place to go. The flower gardens they have are very well maintained and everything is clearly labeled. They have many things from all over the world and the place is very expansive. Other than the gardens they have a beautiful gated nature walk area across the road and beebe lake... More

Great hiking trails with unexpected beauty. Lovely wildflowers, lakes and forests. Some parts under construction but a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the outdoors.

The Cornell Plantations is a beautiful spot to relax, walk, and observe various plant species. Butterflies, birds, and dragonflies flutter about pollenating the beautiful and bountiful botanicals. There are sun, shade, and wood varieties of plants. The formal gardens are well maintained and landscaped. It was nice to be able to enjoy the plantation without paying a fee.

Besides the gorges, this was a highlight of our trip to the Finger Lakes region. Very relaxing, peaceful during mid-week. Excellent labeling of each specimen appreciated.

Took my parents to visit, the gardens were in full bloom and absolutely beautiful. Easy to get around. Enjoyed all the variety of spices they had as well as the flowers.

We spent most of our time in the botanical gardens, which are very lovely. We also took the climb up to the shady garden behind the main building. Then we drove through the arboretum, with a stop to wander through the tree & shrub area, which we particularly enjoyed. We started down a path through the woods, but the rain... More

We spent 2 hours exploring the botanical gardens, wildflower area and rhododendron collection, but there was so much more to see. You could easily scale your visit here short or long, depending on how much time you have. Parking was cheap, welcome centre clean and friendly. We saw a wild deer and her fawn take their own tour.

Although the Plantations building was closed (on Mondays) we were able to walk through the gorgeous botanical garden, enjoying the flowers and herbs in all their colorful profusion. We didn't have the time or energy to walk around the other areas on this visit, but will definitely be back another time.
