Beautiful grounds and gardens. Excellent summer theatre; we saw Shakespeare's Loves Labours Lost. Outstanding acting.

This is a beautiful garden. There is a lot of shade so even on hot days it is still pleasant. It is a well run establishment with many guided hikes and classes to take advantage of.

Lots of gardens and lakes. Each garden has a special perspective - trees, flowers, etc. Plenty of opportunity for hiking. Great place to visit.

This was a great stop for us to break up a long drive. A couple of hours is plenty but the grounds are really peaceful and a beautiful setting to walk.

I could have spent a week at Cornell Plantations. If one loves gardening, this is the place to be. There is a perennial and herb garden, a conifer garden, a rhododendron garden, a rock garden, a wildflower garden and a large breath-taking arboretum that makes it seem like a great National or State Park. I went through two camera batteries... More

One could definitely find peace and serenity strolling around these gardens. There are a variety of different settings on the 500 acres that the university set aside for this venue. Around the beautiful visitor center there are paths that take you into a variety of different garden settings. There are many benches along these paths, so it’s easy to sit... More

This is an incredibly maintained, visual wonder, located adjacent to the Cornell main campus. The whole area where Cornell is located is like a national park, but the variety of plants and trees at the Plantations is just astounding. Take plenty of pictures, walk, and breathe in nature at its best...

Spent an hour wandering through this woodland that parallels the creek. Wonderful and lush, the wild flowers are named for future reference. The Plantations are sprawling and provide varying ecosystems with outlooks sprinkled through the grounds. Leave your troubles behind and soak up some fresh air.

I happened to be in Ithaca with two business colleagues and we stumbled upon the plantations. Walking through the trails and gardens for just an hour was an amazing relaxing experience.
