Wine tasting in the Finger Lakes area cannot be experienced unless you visit Lucas Vineyards. A large showroom filled with wine themed items, you'll find more than bottles of wine to take back with you. The showroom is spacious enough so you don't feel confined as you savor your wine selections.

I'm local so I'm familiar with all the places to go, and where to avoid. I'm partial to the sparkiling wine. I've done blind tastings with California and French wines and Lucas always rates very high, usually above France. I love the reislings. Tug Boat Red makes a great mulled wine for cold winter days. Ask how to make it.The... More

As a resident of the Finger Lakes one could easily become almost over-saturated with the quality and diversity of local wines available. Lucas is a local gem that manages to continually stand out in an already stellar field. Our favorite is always whatever bubbly they offer - catch it before its sold out! Staff are professional, personable and knowledgeable. Tasting... More

My husband and I visit upstate NY several times a year and always look forward to wine tasting/shopping at the Finger Lakes wineries. Lucas is a big favorite because of their welcoming and knowledgeable staff, beautiful views from the tasting bars and excellent wine selection. We have never left without filling a case (their Cabernet Franc, Cayuga White and Blues... More

We visited this winery for the first time in quite a few years. They have added several new wines. The server chose 5 wines for us to taste and offered to let us taste others if we'd like. This was good for me, as I usually just taste the same types of wines at all places, so it got me... More

We buy season tickets for the wine tour every year. We have previously bought several cases of wine from Lucas. Based on our visit today, they are now off the list. All the groups that pass through for the most part are having a great time and enjoying the day but when you visit a winery that you have been... More

This is one of our favorite wineries in the Finger Lakes Region. We have visited Lucas many, many times and we're never disappointed. They have the best Riesling and Cayuga White and their pricing is extremely reasonable. The tasting room is just the right size, the grounds are lovely and the staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They're a bit... More

Lucas Vineyards is on a sideroad off either NYS 89 or 96. Th view is beautiful featuring Cayuga Lake and rolling vineyards. It is well worth the stop! The wines are very nice and the bottles are creative and make lovely gifts. The gift shop has a great variety of lovely wine/grape oriented themes in a wide range of prices... More

Lucas is one of the bigger wineries. Many varieties of wines, most are of everyday quality but a few stand out. They also have a wine slushy machine! And a very nice gift shop with lots of wine-related items.

This was one of my favorite wineries along the Cayuga Trail. The tasting were reasonable for $3 for 6 tastings. A very pretty place, knowledgeable staff and friendly. The grounds were beautiful. That is where I brought most of my purchases that day. Tugboat red and Tugboat white. Yum! Cute gift shop too.
