It's one of the largest family owned castles in the country. It's beautiful. If you're on Long Island it would be wonderful to see.

The wife and I have stayed there and we loved the ambience and old world charm of all the rooms and bar. The rooms are extremely quaint. The food is exquisite. For a local place that you wish to really impress, this is the place. The staff is incredible friendly and know every thing about the history of the building.... More

ONe of the most Famous Gold Coast Mansions of " today as well as yesterday." You must take the tour to discover this incredible mansion. You must hear the story of the man that built it and how it has been restored. See for yourself why a Jonas bother was married there and " Royal Pains" is often filmed there.... More

There is a lot of history at the castle and it is just lovely to walk around and learn about it. Everyone who works there is very helpful and informative.

I love this home.. Wish I could have seen it in its heyday! Everyone there is very friendly. First went there when I was working on a tv show that was filming there, and got an exclusive behind the scenes look at everything. I'd love to stay overnight!

We've toured old mansions all over the US, and many in other parts of the world. This was no doubt a grand "castle" in its heyday, but there is very little left of the original home - everything inside is restored and none of the original furniture is there. You see the rooms on the ground level that are now... More

So this is how the other half lived.:) Tour has great- guide was well versed and very informative. At the end of the tour there was coffee, tea, and treats- a lovely touch. The tour is included with packages if you stay at the hotel.

My wife and I drove for more than an hour to visit this place. When we got there, a lady at the gate told us we couldn't drive in, not even to have a quick look at the building from the outside. I explained that I was from England and would not have the opportunity in the near future to... More
