We attended the Garden Party fundraiser and had a great time! The castle and the grounds were amazing, and the event was a lot of fun.

The tour guide takes you through the history as well as the various rooms and gardens at Oheka Castle. We wanted to go on the tour, but it was fully booked for the next 4 days. Well, our only way to gain entrance to Oheka Castle was to make a lunch reservation at their restaurant. We told the gatekeeper that we had a lunch reservation, and the gate swung wide open for us to enter. The food at the... More

Wanted to visit Oheka for awhile as it is part of Long Island history and is seen in quite a bit of tv/film footage. Made the tour reservation 2 months in advance as tour is only available once a day, and if they do have events, then you might not be able to tour the castle. Just to gave you... More

Oheka Castle was originally built by the Gould family and after a period of time, remained empty although it was used as a decorators showcase for redecoration. It was finally taken over and turned into a boutique hotel and catering hall. If you get invited to an event here, do not miss it. If you're planning a wedding or other... More

Once we got past the gatekeeper who seemed intent on trying to discourage us from visiting, we had a great time. Beautiful castle, grounds and very friendly staff. Terrific lunch, salads, soups and sandwiches $10-$18 range.

It's one of the largest family owned castles in the country. It's beautiful. If you're on Long Island it would be wonderful to see.

The wife and I have stayed there and we loved the ambience and old world charm of all the rooms and bar. The rooms are extremely quaint. The food is exquisite. For a local place that you wish to really impress, this is the place. The staff is incredible friendly and know every thing about the history of the building.... More

ONe of the most Famous Gold Coast Mansions of " today as well as yesterday." You must take the tour to discover this incredible mansion. You must hear the story of the man that built it and how it has been restored. See for yourself why a Jonas bother was married there and " Royal Pains" is often filmed there.... More
