What great place! You can't get a better view than this, you can see all the way to the Berkshires! The zip guides were awesome...my husband is a bilateral amputee and they let him zip....where the Alaskan Zipline in Ketchican did not! He had a great time and the guides seemed genuinely happy that we came and zipped with them.... More

My family and I visited Hunter's Skyride for the 1st time this summer. we have been back 2 more times since. It's a beautiful ride and view. Take some time and walk around on top. We brought a picnic lunch and had a great time. This last visit, we walked to the Fire Tower. Its about an hour, but so... More

Hunter Mountain is great for skiing in the winter, and for zip lining, and festivals in the off season. The ski trails range from nice long easy slopes to really challenging ones. The lodge has food, a bar, and nice bathrooms (for a lodge). The view from the top (in any season) is beautiful.

The hubby and I took the skyride to the top of the mountain. We loved it. Price: $11/person Service: Where we bought our tix, the woman was a bit rude. Once we made it past her, all staff were friendly. The experience: The ride was a beautiful experience. The view was amazing and we took pictures all the way to... More

We saved our last day of vacation to drive up to hunter mountain to enjoy the summer sky ride we read and researched about online. Upon arrival, we followed the signs for the sky ride tickets , when we approached the stairs to go upstairs to purchase our tickets, a very rude woman with a " security" shirt on asked... More

Is the German Alps Festival is an annual event for everyone? Ja. I saw all ages showing their national pride. A couple of octogenarians, who were no doubt, reminiscing, about their homeland, were called out by the MC showing they were still having fun at 80 and 83! A young gal of 8 in a pretty German dress, dancing to... More

We were with a two day bus tour to attend the Alps Fest, the beer garden, food and entertainment were very good and we enjoyed ourselves. The facilities at Hunter Mountain were very nice. However, we were very disappointed with the size of the festival, we thought for sure it would be bigger than it was and we also were... More
