German Fest!

The folks at Hunter Mountain make full use of all that the mountain offers year-round, including a chairlift ride and a zipline course. We enjoyed the chairlift ride to the top after we had explored a bit round the lodge. Prior to our ride we stopped in to the gift shop and had a pleasant informative conversation with one of... We recently visited Hunter Mountain for the first time and had a blast on the zip line SkyRide tour. The first zip is at 3200' and is 3200' long, and it was made all the better by 3 great tour guides and superb weather. There is a lot of attention to following the safety rules, and although this was not... More

Went to Hunter Mountain for the German Alps Festival. Took the Chairlift to the top and the singer that was up there sang the greatest tunes and we spent a few hours relaxing and enjoying the german food and beer. Fun day with friends.

My wife and I came up for the German Fest this pat weekend and we had a great time. Food was delicious, and the beer, of course, was plentiful. We took the lift up to the top and found there were Adirondack chairs all over, giving you seated views of the mountains. The weather was gorgeous and the view was... More

We room the lift to the top of the mountain and this was well worth the $. Once at the top we explored trails with the kids.. Could use a bathroom and a place to purchase a cold water or snack. The view of the mountains was breathtaking!

Hunter Mountain isn't only for skiing. It's a great get-a-way during the summer as well. Huge Zip line, walking the tree tops, and hiking are high on the list.

Took an impromptu hiking trip on a Monday morning to Hunter Mtn. Due to weather concerns we took the lift to the top of one of the ski runs then hiked to the tower. This is a moderate/difficult trail. Since this has been a very rainy summer, there was a lot of loose rock and slick trails. Our hike was... More

Beautiful scenery . We walked around the area and enjoyed the beautiful views. We could not take a ride on the ski lift because it was closed that day. Please, check ahead for days of operation.

I went for the first time to visit Hunter Mountain Ziplining Tours this past Saturday. Jesse, Mike and Michael were our tour guides for the extreme Skyrider. It was awesome! I was a little hesitant at first because it was raining, but the guys made it a tremendous experience. They were knowledgeable, helpful and funny. I can't wait to go... More

We took the zip line at hunter mtn. It's 3000 ft long for the first zip. WOW!! What a kick that was!!! Two lines run side by side, so you can "race" your partner. The other lines are progressivly shorter, but still fun. The guides we had were fun, too. They definitly added to our experience. If you go in... More
