We did several things up in Hunter Mt. including the zip lining. The Adirondack Mountains and the zip lining was absolutely beautiful during the changing on the leaves. We went to the Erie Canal Museum, and took the train tour. We hiked some of the path of the 5 Lock trail. Also did a hike up to a falls area.... More

Took my boyfriend for his birthday zip lining and it did not disappoint. Sky rider course is a must. Scary yes but exhilarating once you take the first leap. The views, once you get over the fact you are zipping 600ft high, were amazing! Zip 1 was the most beautiful and 3 the fastest. Bridge crossing was cool and felt... More

So near the Adirondacks, we often forget how lovely the Catskills are... but the mountains are beautiful, the hiking is great and the towns full of fun places to shop and eat

Went with the family on a beautiful sunny day. Our first time Zip Lining. Staff is very professional and very serious about safely. I didn't know what to really expect. We went on the "smaller" zip line. Perfect for first timers and children. It's a great experience. I would love to return in the fall and see all the beautiful... More

I liked everything I saw over there. I also heard it would be fantastic in Autumn as all leaves would change colours. Love to see these.

If you live in NYC, this is the closest drive to a big moutain ski experience. I know everything about this mountain because I used to go here regularly and have worked here for a few years. The mountain consists of 3 areas which is the beginner section, intemediate section (Hunter Mountain), and advanced (Hunter West). The advanced section called... More

We go to Hunter Mountain mainly so our kids can learn to ski. They have a great, well organized ski school, and it is very convenient for beginners because there are a good number of beginner (green circle) slopes, with practically all of the lifts for them located very close together. DH and I have had the good fortune to... More

i have been to the mountain less than two hours to the city, but this is the best one that I have been to due to the slopes on their black diamond trails. I had so much fun because of the challenges that I had encountered while skiing.

It is nice to see the mountain change its image over the years from the party out of control crowd. It is geared more towards family skiers than ever before, but enough to attract the die hard skiers and boarders as well. The lodge is old, I heard a few complain, but that is its charm. Everything is clean and... More
