At the great cave of the Northeast, an elevator takes you 156’below ground. The doors open into a prehistoric underground cavern 6,000,000 years in the making! Trained tour guides help negotiate the cave and teach about its magnificent natural features. Back on the surface, mine for gemstones at Howe Caverns Mining Co. Beginning summer 2011, enjoy the first phase of Howe High Adventures—featuring ropes courses, climbing walls, zip lines and more!

The zip lines are small, but are fun. The combo pack that includes the ropes and zip lines is a bit overpriced, in my opinion. But, they do pack the people in and have no problem getting their price, so good for them. The ropes are a ton of fun as long as you get there when they open. Otherwise... More

We visited from the Utica area with friends from out of the country. The caverns are as beautiful as we remember, but there are many new attractions on the property. Look into the adventure courses and H2Go. They looked like a lot of fun!

I did the tour of the caverns for the second time this past weekend. I must say it's still an enjoyable experience and can't wait to do it again. Our tour guide Andrea was top notch and new all the answer to the questions that people where asking. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Not bad nice hotel queen size bed is really a full. The cavern is commercialized but down the road is the secret cavern which is fun even though the water fall is fake.

Very nice time on the Lantern Tour. Nick gave an informative, fun tour. Have not done a day tour but would guess the lantern tour is more intimate and detailed. If you're in the area a must do. Beautiful area.

UNBELIEVABLE! !!! 200 feet below ground lies a geological wonder bold enough to rival the seven wonders of the world. It has to be in the running for, at least, the catagory of Natural Wonders of The World. Howers Caverns brings back vivid memories of Jules Verne's great novel. We stayed overnight, in the hotel, on the expansive Howes Caver... More

visited with a group had a great time not a whole day but a couple hours loved it unless you have issues being 15+ stories under ground. Make sure you bring a sweat shirt or light coat 52 degrees.

I made my first visit to Howe Caverns today. Been wanting to go for years. As I have been to other caverns before, it was as I had expected. My only suggestion would be to make the groups smaller, if possible, especially if there are elderly people in the group. We had my 81 year old mother-in-law with us and... More

Located off of I-88 or as I do when I have time, from back roads through the farms and small towns - once you arrive the view is positively 1st rate. It is simply a view that is impossible to dismiss as anything less than incredible. You can purchase a combination ticket to both the caverns and the adventure park... More
