What a great time was had by all! Went to my nieces B'day party and felt like one of the kids. This was a great treat and the Howe Caverns are a NY treasure that everyone should go and see. The staff are excellent and very informative. Our guide was wonderful and was able to answer all our questions and... More

This is out of the way, on 7 East, but well worth it. That is if you are not scared of small places. Howe Caverns has multiple things to do from a Zipline to mining for gems, cracking open rocks, going underground into a natural cave a boat ride, a restaurant and a gift shop. It even has tours for... More

Thank you for your visit! We are glad you enjoy how much we have to offer. I just want to clarify that the cave is NOT wheelchair accessible. We do offer a complimentary courtesy tour where someone in a wheelchair can go down in the elevator into the first room of the cave in order to see the cave and... More

Took a day trip up with a group of mid-twenty somethings. We all had an awesome time on our walking and boat tour. It just goes to show how amazing nature can be!

We took the standard tour. The cave is basically an active stream passage, long and straight, with an excellently engineered brick walkway above the water. There is ample headroom for all but the tallest visitor. Your tour will step aboard a flatboat with seats and cover the last quarter mile of the route via the "Lake of Venus". On the... More

We totally enjoyed our visit here. It was awesome! Nick was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. He was informative, lively and entertaining. He kept young and old engaged. The walk and boat ride was 90 minutes long which was more than enough time to take in all the beautiful underground scenery. It is so nice to... More

Drove 2.5 hrs to come here, and the beautiful scenery, hosts, and caverns were absolutely worth it! Our next trip is already in mind, hopefully for their haunted tour. This place is so cool!, everyone is so sweet, and the groups aren't crowded, it was my boyfriend and I and three other couple. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the experience of going down into a cave over 150ft below the earth's surface. It was absolutely stunning.

I hadn't been in many years, went with my daughter. It's not a cheap outing, but to put a parking fee (for a field, basically, with no other options, being out in the middle of nowhere) in place just seems like gouging - I felt like I had gone to the bank. Not a good way to start an experience.... More
