Honestly I should admit that I've never been a big fan of art museums. However, I wanted to see the sights in Queretaro so I paid the 40 peso entry fee to check it out. This building is WOW. The exhibitions might not turn out to be too attractive/luring. If you're lucky you might catch something worthy. The permanent exhibit is mainly made up of religious art. While the museum collection is itself very impressive, one isn't prepared for the sheer magnificience of the building it is housed in. The Cloister of the Temple of St. Augustine was built from 1731 -1736 in the Baroque style of the Colonial period.
