It is a small amusement park, even if it is the only one around Queretaro. The place is OK, with some nice spots, but just Ok in the overall experience. Wen the "foreign communities festival" is taking place, the overcrowding makes all its defficiencies visible.

I have visited the "Parque Bicentenario" on two ocasions, one in summer and the last was in winter. The first time, we visited the pool area, which has several pools for kids or "chapoteaderos" and big pools for teens/adults. There is staff to help the visitors in some aquatic rides but in every pool the water is really cold (at... More

This is a nice government run facility - nice, clean and big with amusement park rides, plenty ot food vendors, giant swimming/aquatic facilities for adults and kids. Plenty of places to stroll and picnic. Lots of things to amuse children (miniature train, tram ride, etc.) - the only thing is the rather odd schedule - the park is only open... More

As the only real theme park in the city, it is very far from its distant cousins in the US, but has a nice lake, and a couple of decent rides for little children mixed with local history. The park has a big pool with slides, a train runaround that surrounds an artificial lake. Big parking. And cheap tickets all... More

A really fun day for the entire family. Lots of swimming activities and great rides -- appropriate for each member of the family.

For the area it's located, this park is pretty nice. If you're traveling around to visit amusement parks, you may want to skip this one. The park has a small selection of rides, and the coasters are sub-par. Montana Rusa is pretty rough, and you'll need a child if you want to ride Selva del Raton. My favorite attraction here... More

Parque Bicentenario is a relatively new municipal attraction around 20 minutes drive to the north of Queretaro city, in the region of Juriquilla and Santa Rosa Jauregui. It's a large site zoned into different areas, with adult fairground rides in one section (rollercoaster, pirate ship, river rapids ride, dodgem cars among others), children's fairground rides in another (small "caterpillar" and...
