West Point Tours offers a one hour tour and a 2 hour tour. We took the one hour tour, and were very pleased with our tour guide (Ed). He was extremely knowledgeable of West Point and its history. Parking is free and the tour is via an air-conditioned yellow school bus. Half the tour is on the bus and the... More

We took the one hour West Point Tour which you can sign up for right at the Visitor's Center. Our guide was an ex-army woman who married an Army career man and lived on the base. She had so much knowledge about West Point, past and present. We visited many places on the tour, all informative about things we didn't... More

Visiting West Point these days means dealing with heightened security and limited access to the campus. Given the restrictions, I think West Point Tours does a very good job of providing visitors with an informative overview of the Academy's history and cadet life. My family and I chose the two hour tour that included the Revolutionary-era Fort Putnam in addition... More

Having visited all of the other service academies we were pleased to make this visit. Our guide, Joe, was very good and we enjoyed learning all he had to share. The grounds are lovely, the buildings beautiful, and although it pains this former Naval Officer to say so, the academy is as impressive as The Naval Academy.

Overall, I was very disappointed. I don't feel like I received $14 worth of anything. The bus took us around the grounds, we got out for a while to look at the parade ground, a couple of stautes (which you couldn't see because they were so far away) and the view of the river, and that was it. We didn't... More

We took the one hour tour of West Point which was provided on a luxury coach bus. The tour guide provided an overview of the Academy and the history. It was great for a quick overview and we were provided opportunities for some terrific pictures.

Well done!! The guide knew her stuff and it was both informative and inspirational! I learned some facts that I did not know and have a better understanding of the sacrifices our young men and women make for this great country!

We made arrangements for the tour a month before and it pored before and during our tour but it was still excellent. We did get to do some walking and that was so nice. The place is beautiful. The rugged landscape and view of the Hudson River was terrific. The tour guide was super with all sorts of info. You... More

We took a two hour tour on a Tuesday. I must have missed the information on the website which stated that during the week the two hour tour only goes to cemeteries, not to the Fort. It was, as a result, very disappointing. We had been at West Point many years ago, and we recall just driving onto the grounds... More

I have to say, after having lived at West point when a teen and having visited it again on our own in 1999 and being able to visit our house and anything we wanted, I was sad to hear that because of 911 the only way to see the post grounds at West Point was through a tour. But, the... More
