What is more to love is the fact that a portion of all wine proceeds go to the endangered Humboldt penguins at the Syracuse Rosamond Gifford Zoo. So stop into our tasting room and pick a favorite wine to savor while you enjoy our lake view picnic facilities. « less

The winery has a great view. There is a good variety of wines. The prices are good. They have a nice little gift shop. They had wine slushies. The only thing was there was only one person working, luckily it was late in the day and it was not very busy. She did a great job taking care of everyone... More

This was our 3rd stop on our winery adventures. They were awesome, they catered to our likes and wants. Very knowledgeable. Prices of the wines were also very reasonable.

The host at Penguin Bay was very friendly, even though I identified myself as not being a racing fan during race week in the Glen. It was refreshing to not be listening to top 40 music while sipping some really good wines!

We went first thing in the am so it was empty which was nice. My husband did like the white wines; however I didn't find any reds that I liked. We thought it was interesting that they had Wine Slushies and wanted to try them but it was early in the day still and we had more wineries to visit.... More

I live in this region and I know most of the wineries well. I also know how obnoxious some taster/tourists can be, and dealing with them must be exhausting. That being said, this is the saddest winery I visited. The atmosphere - and employees - are "uninspired", to say the least. It felt like the hot-spot for drunken frats and... More

I can't say I was overly impressed with their wines, but for the sweeter palate, they do have a good grape flavor that isn't overpowered by sugar. The highlight was the muscato.

We were going to skip this winery but I'm glad we didn't! My husband liked some of the wines better than I did, but the woman who served us was so friendly and knowledgeable! The tasting room was large and they have a fun gift shop.

We stopped at Penguin Bay while we were making our way along the wine trail. The view of the vineyards and lake is absolutely beautiful! We did a tasting and although we weren't huge fans of the wine, we thought that the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I actually really liked this winery. It was not as sophisticated as some on our tour, but the staff was really nice, and I liked their wines. It was a nice stop on our tour, and I left with a couple of souvenir bottles.
