What is more to love is the fact that a portion of all wine proceeds go to the endangered Humboldt penguins at the Syracuse Rosamond Gifford Zoo. So stop into our tasting room and pick a favorite wine to savor while you enjoy our lake view picnic facilities.

Arriving in the afternoon on a Monday, Penguin Bay was our first winery stop. Being the only ones there we had the full attention of the staff, enjoyed the tasting, the view and the gift shop.

Beautiful setting, very knowledgeable server, nice gift shop. Prices are very resonable. One of my favorite places to visit when in the area.

We visited penguin bay based on positive reviews. It was a great spot, beautiful views & great gift area. Unfortunately our wine server had ZERO personality. She poured our wines and only mumbled the name of the wine she was pouring. We tried to make conversation with her but she basically ignored us (this was not because she was busy-we... More

Upon arriving we were promptly moved to the back room since we were a large party. This was even more ideal since that is where all the windows are; therefore, you get the beautiful views. We did have to wait a bit for the server. She was nice; however could have been a little more energetic like at others we... More

We were on a Girls long weekend and this was a new winery to us. The girl that helped us was very knowledgeable and was very nice. A nice little gift shop. The wine was great.

Very nice wine, and they had several varieties on sale when I was there. Ending up buying 8 bottles.

We visited this winery on a very busy Saturday. Very crowded. We did buy a bottle of sweet wine but the gal basically poured the wine and mumbled her sales pitch" which we couldn"t even hear.

The winery has a great view. There is a good variety of wines. The prices are good. They have a nice little gift shop. They had wine slushies. The only thing was there was only one person working, luckily it was late in the day and it was not very busy. She did a great job taking care of everyone... More

This was our 3rd stop on our winery adventures. They were awesome, they catered to our likes and wants. Very knowledgeable. Prices of the wines were also very reasonable.

The host at Penguin Bay was very friendly, even though I identified myself as not being a racing fan during race week in the Glen. It was refreshing to not be listening to top 40 music while sipping some really good wines!
