The beach is rocky and small and usually packed. But the kids can play and you don't have to worry about them being washed away by a huge rouge ocean wave. It's a little boring for an adult but that's why they have drinks and music!

Nice beach for children. Nice to have the beach hut and life gaurds. Food and drinks are good at the hut and good parking.

I go here with my family every Friday because they have a car show. My dad has a 1976 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme, fully restored. We bring it and get lots of compliments. There are a lot if cool Classic cars. It has to be 1988 or older. The beach is nice and the food is really good, but pricy. I... More

Nice relaxing environment. No waves. Very shallow water. Bring your pool shoes (unless your soles are like Fred Flintstone)... Stones everywhere! Love this beach that we call "The Bay."

We loved that the beach was small, quaint, had super close parking, a playgroud steps away & bathrooms & food that are also steps away. Three things that we didn't like were the boulders all over the beach, the rocks everywhere & the fact that the sun is behind you when facing the beach. Huge drawback! If you go, get... More

Beach is on the south side of Great Peconic Bay so the water is generally very calm and shallow. Nice snack bar and easy parking. It is a Suffolk County beach so be prepared to show your Park Pass or pay!

A small hut on the beach with bare bones But..... hamburgers, drinks, fries are awesome on a beach where you can watch the sunset gloriously on the water in the evening. Parking available, nice iced cold drinks as well as frozen specialties. A must try

Live music is nice too, food available. The beach is good for small children and for chilled out family time. The water is typically calm as it's bayside. The view is lovely. Beach is rocky and not wide. But, long. So plenty of space. Parking is pricey.

I liked walking on the rocks at the jetty area. At night their are different live bands playing different types of music, some from the 1950s. Did not care to much for the seagull mess along the rocks.
