Excellent Cabernet Franc plus a range of excellent whites. A very nice tasting room and well informed and accommodating hosts. We regularly make this a stop each time we are in the Keuka Lake region. Be sure to include this winery on any tour you devise. You will be well rewarded.

Thought the crackers were better than the actual wines, not that there was anything bad, but we only left this establishment with one bottle. Apparently they are made in house, or so we were told, they were different than any other crackers I had tasted. Tasting room was crowded and fairly tiny, but we managed to get the attention of... Stopped by at Ravines wine cellars, an annual pilgrimage for us. We are club members, so tastings are free and we get a discount on purchases. The tasting room is pleasantly decorated and there are tables with umbrellas out front, so bring a little picnic for after your tasting and sit and enjoy a lovely view of the lake. The... More

We visited quite a few wineries during our trip to Finger Lakes. I would say that tasting in Ravines was one of the best. And Carolyn made it very personal. She talked to us about wines, and winery and food pairing and she was so friendly and knowledgeable. Very memorable experience! Loved it!

Went here after visiting the Dr. Frank Winery. A bit crowded as a large tour group was finishing up when we entered, which may account for my 4 instead of 5 star rating. Still very good experience and nice set up. There is a nominal charge for the tasting ($3). For a little more, you can opt to try wines... More

Ravines has solid wines and a very nice view. Unfortunately on the day we came it rained so we could not enjoy it. The staff is knowledgeable about wine which is a definite plus.

We stopped in Ravines for a tasting and opted for the wine and cheese pairing. The first cheese was nice and the Dry Riesling was wonderful. Our scripted cheese tasting continued and my first glitch happened when the Rose' was poured and I said (to my husband), "I'll have another pink wine." This got a reaction by the pourer who... More

It was beautiful there. I enjoyed the wine and appreciated the fact that they accommodated our wine tour. I really enjoyed it and the service was great.

Although this was an early morning stop, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the beautiful tasting room overlooking Keuka Lake. Our server was very informative and the wines all were of very good quality. There was some construction going on when we were there so we did have to climb some stairs to get to the tasting area but it... More

We started an extended tour of finger lake wineries at Ravines. They have a long list of seriously fine wines. It is the only winery where we thought it worthwhile (necessary, in fact) to sign up for their wine club. For people who like Rieslings that actually taste like rieslings, and some really nice reds as well, this is a... More
