These wines are the best on Keuka. Also, the pourers are knowledgeable and friendly. Wines are made with a European sensibility and are hard to find elsewhere.

We started visiting Ravines Wine Cellar on Keuka Lake about 10 years ago. We have yet to be disappointed. It is hard to believe that it is possible but each year the wines continue to get even better than the year before. We finally joined the Ravinous wine club this year and we are looking forward to our quarterly wines.... More

This was our last stop on our motorcycle wine tour of the Finger Lakes. For the record, the riders were either not drinking or sipping, sloshing, and spitting. The passengers were REALLY enjoying themselves by the time we got here. There's a fee to taste, $3 for 5 wines, but our pourer let us try a few extras. The Riesling... More

I have lived in the Finger Lakes for more than ten years, but generally don't visit the wineries. To be honest, when I first came to the area, many of them were not very good, and the last thing I want to do is pay to taste sub-par wine while surrounded by rowdy tour groups and bachelorette parties! I encountered... More

There were many wineries that had one or two wines they did very well, but Ravines was one of the few where everything was good. The whole tasting room experience was enhanced as we'll by both a tasty cheese pairing and by the server giving us extra pours of wines we hadn't chosen for our tasting so we really got... More

We stopped at this winery ( for the first time ) after we left Buffalo as we were going back home and decided to stay overnight at the finger lakes area. The winery has a nice view of the lake. We did have a nice server, and friendly. We ask if they sell cheese and crackers, said yes. We go... More

My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way up the lake because we were going right past it. While the wines were overall very good, I was very put off by the feeling of superiority this winery (or at least that was the feeling from the lady doing our tasting) has over it's fellow local winemakers. She knew a... More

This was the first stop of my Keuka Holidays wine tour. This is a small but nice winery located near the main road along Keuka Lake. The tastings were good and the people were helpful. They know their wines. Small gift shop. Certainly worth a visit.

We were recommended to visit this winery while we were at Dr. Franks. It was a very good recommendation. We had the cheese and wine pairing and it was nice to taste local cheeses as well as the wine. Abel was our server and was friendly, efficient and calm while serving a lot of customers. He was knowledgeable about all... More

There are many different tasting experiences in the Finger Lakes and like wines not all experiences suit all people. We had the chocolate and wine pairing and it was quite enjoyable. It was a very busy day but we loved the experience. Be sure to add this to your list especially if you want to try wines that are setting... More
