This is first class wine in any area of the world. NYS wines are now at the top of the class with Rieslings and Ravines has some of the very best. Even their "every day" Riesling is great and at a very nice price point. We however left with a couple of their very special 2012 Argetsinger Vineyards Rieslings, it... More

This was our second visit to Ravines, and we went primarily because we were too early for a tasting at McGregor. Unfortunately, all of the wines we tasted had been open for a couple days, and they had not held up very well. To add insult to injury, the server was a bit pretentious, which is unusual for the Finger... More

A really nice plus is the lunch/ snack option. It just happened to be a beautiful fall day and they were offering maybe 4 or 5 options. Had a great cartelized onion tart and my husband had a nice little beef pot pie. The wines are definitely in the top tier in the region, the Keaku tasting room has great views.

This is our fourth visit to Ravines, and each year it gets better! Their Riesling is superb and because it is one of the dryer varieties in the area, it is a perfect complement to almost every kind of food, or just for sipping. This year they have a new variety, Ayre, a mildly bubbly varietal Valvin Muscat, a French... More

One of the eight Wineries included in the Keuka Lake wine passport, so the tasting was free. A nice size room, with knowledgeable staff. They also sell cheeses and chocolates which was right up my wife's alley! The Ayre is tremendous as are the Rieslings. Picnic tables are available to relax and have a glass outside should you like to.... More

You can get 5 wines for $3 or 5 wines with a choice of cheeses or chocolates for $6. We opted for the cheese and chocolate. I wasn't a real fan of the chocolates but they did go with the wine. The cheeses were local and excellant which they also sell at the winery. Again they went beautifully with the... More

We stopped here because we bought the Keuka Lake passport so our tasting was free. Workers were very friendly, we bought the "ayre" wine which was FABULOUS. They have picnic tables out front that we ate our lunch on with nice views of the lake!

Began a wine exploration of Keuka Lake with this winery, no one else was there so I had the staff all to myself. Very personable and well-informed staff, enjoyed discussing wine and wine travel with them. I tried 6 wines, whites and reds, and liked the pinot blanc much more than any other white. These wines are very dry, my... More

Ravines is on the Keuka Lake wine trail and is one of the best especially known for its reisling, which has been rated high by Wine Spectator. It sits on a hill overlooking the lake. Wine tastings (up to 5) have a small fee. It also has a small gift area as well as selling its wines

We hit Ravines on our way home because I was dying to get the wine and cheese pairing!!! Do it! It's the best I've found! We got there around noon or so on a Friday morning and pretty much had the place to ourselves so we were given personalized attention and even got to try a couple extra wines! Unfortunately,...
