Solid wine with a nice view and a knowledgeable staff

Ravines has solid wines and a very nice view. Unfortunately on the day we came it rained so we could not enjoy it. The staff is knowledgeable about wine which is a definite plus.

We stopped in Ravines for a tasting and opted for the wine and cheese pairing. The first cheese was nice and the Dry Riesling was wonderful. Our scripted cheese tasting continued and my first glitch happened when the Rose' was poured and I said (to my husband), "I'll have another pink wine." This got a reaction by the pourer who... More

It was beautiful there. I enjoyed the wine and appreciated the fact that they accommodated our wine tour. I really enjoyed it and the service was great.

Although this was an early morning stop, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the beautiful tasting room overlooking Keuka Lake. Our server was very informative and the wines all were of very good quality. There was some construction going on when we were there so we did have to climb some stairs to get to the tasting area but it... More

We started an extended tour of finger lake wineries at Ravines. They have a long list of seriously fine wines. It is the only winery where we thought it worthwhile (necessary, in fact) to sign up for their wine club. For people who like Rieslings that actually taste like rieslings, and some really nice reds as well, this is a... More

Stopped here as part of a limo tour. Tastings on second floor of building. Beautiful view of lake from outside front door. Only a single restroom on the premises for all guests, which doesn't make sense when the second floor is filled with a huge number of people drinking wine, presumably on tours, etc. They pushed the pairing of chocolates... Most of the foods were unforgettable. The winery was nicely laid out and organized. The bartender very knowledgeable and really loved the wines. me not too much. Too dry. If you like dry then you will like the wines.

We visited several wineries in the area and found Ravines to be the best. In fact, we found it so good, we actually joined their quarterly wine club.

My husband and I visited here on a day tour of Keuka Lake wineries. Our wine host was very knowledgable and gave us a good introduction to the Ravines wines. We left with a Meritage and a Chardonnay. As we made our purchase, I noticed a paperback book I had read about when I was researching the area--Summer in a... More

Ravine Winery is one of, if not, the best winery in all of NY. The head wine maker has worked world-wide, including Chateau Cos d'Estournel, a Grand Cru Classe Bordeaux. Their Meritage is the best in NY and better than 99% of CA Meritage. I can't say enough good thing about this winery. If your taste is more toward whites,... More
