We returned here because of the great experience we had last year. We arrived and their was no one to greet us, that was okay because we knew where we were going. We entered the wine tasting room looking to purchase some of the wine we had gotten last year. We noticed several employees milling around but not acknowledging us.... More

Hi Greg, First, let me say I'm sorry for experience. I actually said I was sorry to your facebook post, sent you a private message and more. I even offered you my personal company email to email so that we could discuss your experience in more detail, however, you have chosen not to do so. We would love to discuss... More

We had to opportunity to have a wine tasting today. We arrived after 2pm and it was pretty busy but we were taken to a bar for tasting within 5 minutes. This was my first visit to a tasting and I have to say that Sue was amaxing. Very knowledgable and friendly with the whole group at the table. We... More

We were very impressed with the lady who informed us of each wine. She was so knowledgable about every one and answered all our questions. The wine was excellent and we bought a case of various wines.

It was our first time visiting winery. We enjoyed it so much. Great wine tasting show. It is free, and most importantly, very informative. Sommelier was knowledgeable, he told us all about wine making and different sorts of grapes. We strongly recommend to visit this winery.

We stopped here as we have always enjoyed their wines. The person offering the tasting was very knowledgeable of the traits of each wine. We purchased several bottles and asked if we could purchase a glass and enjoy it on their huge covered deck overlooking the lake. I was advised they do not offer individual glasses of wine. I noticed... More

Dr. Frank's is a necessary stop on any tour of FL wineries. The pourers are exceptional (with a couple of exceptions) and the tastings are free. Rieslings are the high point along with the champagnes. All purchases are discounted depending on how many bottles you buy. And the setting is spectacular.

My second visit was today, and I am remiss that I didn't get around to doing so after the first visit on Memorial Day weekend this year. Wonderful wines, especially the sparklers and the rieslings, and a view that is like no other in the area. Staff is friendly, knowledgable, and respectful of visitors. If you're lucky, Colleen will not... More

The wine was excellent and the staff delightful. If you go make sure you look for Rene, she is extremely helpful making suggestions of what wine to pair with what meal and very funny with an ease like I had known her for years. I got there a little late but she took the time to make sure I was... More

I saw a previous review of this winery that stated $5 per tasting. I'm not sure if there was an error with our group of 4 but we were never charged for our tasting last weekend. The wines we sampled were above average. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable,so much so that the woman who was running the tasting... More

So glad you enjoyed your visit! Just to clarify for other visitors: we do not charge for tastings for groups under 8. There is, however, a $5 fee for groups over 8, which includes a glass. I saw some previous comments expressing confusion over our tasting fees. Hope this explains! More
