We have been drinking Dr. Franks wine for many decades and can only add that his children and grandchildren are continuing his great tradition. Be sure to explore the eastern European varietals. They add a special dimension to the wonderful menu normally found in the Finger Lakes region. We always leave with a case or two and share with friends... More

The Late Harvest Riesling wasn't supposed to be on my tasting menu but a staff member saw an open bottle and gave us a bonus. I'm so glad that she did because it was by far the best tasting riesling I had that day. I bought 4 different wines here. Absolutely fantastic place.

Very nice, low key winery. Tastings done by groupings, with a choice of 1 of 2 each round. No fee for tasting. The 2010 Brut Rose was enchanting, but the Riesling was excellent, also.

We liked these the best of the Keuga Lake wineries. Decent pours. Nice view. The Riesling wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but try the chardonnay and even the reds.

Outstanding organization and tasting procedures. They gather you as you walk in, let you browse the shop while they gather a few more for the tasting, and then send over a taster to guide you to your session. Advice: No charge for the tasting, but if you buy the Keuka Tasting Passport, there is a 10% off your purchase coupon... More

Very good experience overall, but too busy to our taste. We almost felt rushed through the tasting, but still one of better wines we tried in Finger Lakes.

This winery was founded by Dr. Konstantin Frank, the father of vinifera wines in the Finger Lakes. Dr. Frank, a Romanian immigrant worked with local viticulturists to get the classic Bordeaux grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot) to grow in this region. He has had excellent winemakers over the years. The have introduced the Rkatsiteli grape which makes a... More

The wine-cooleresque whites and concord grape reds from the Finger Lakes I recall from my early 20s are a thing of the past. Dr. Konstantin Frank, an immigrant from Ukraine who began in the US as a janitor, makes outstanding Rieslings that I wanted to try at the source. The tasting is free. Our host, a man with 10 years... We discovered Dr. Konstantin Frank wines on a trip to the Finger Lakes in 2014. This year, we had the pleasure of visiting this winery. If you are going to visit wineries, make this one, on beautiful Keuka Lake, a priority. First of all, free wine tasting. Second, great wines. Third, beautiful views! The staff is very knowledgable and friendly.

Spectacular view of Keuka Lake and amazing, delicious wines. The Dry Reisling is my favorite (served at a White House dinner) but every single wine we tasted was really good. Their Pinot Noir is the only decent Pinot I've ever had in the Finger Lakes (and we've been to a lot of wineries there). Absolutely worth a visit. Plus it... More
