I'm not buddhist, but my time at this meditation center was some of the most peaceful and happiest times of my life. The people there are extremely welcoming and friendly. They brought me in as if I was family and treated me as such. The grounds are secluded in the woods. There are several lakes and rivers close by, so... More

This place is a precious jewel in the beautiful woods of Glen Spey. I went on a personal retreat and received the most loving support and guidance from my wonderful retreat coach. The residents I encountered were friendly and welcoming. The vegetarian meals were delicious and my room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.

This place was magical! My daughter and I went for the Peace of Mind retreat. The coast is very reasonable compared to other retreats. The food was vegetarian, we are not vegetarians but we loved it. The place was just beautiful. The accommodations were cozy and clean. Everyone there was beyond friendly. We felt so at home. The gift shop was... More

May be deceiving when driving up to the gravel parking area for the Meditation Center with its various buildings, but once walking toward the Meditation Center you will be overwhelmed with the scenery. Temple is beautiful and inspiring, a wonderful place for everyone regardless of your beliefs, to spend time in meditation or simply relaxing.

I went to KMC for a rest and reflect retreat for four days. I can honestly say that I have never been somewhere that every person I met treated me with so much respect and kindness. Visiting the Temple, taking walks in the woods on guided paths and just relaxing with the beautiful scenery surrounding me all contributed to the... More

Kadampa Meditation Center is a beautiful place. Located in the Upper Delaware River Valley, its a serene setting for a perfect weekend getaway from New York City. I stayed overnight with a relative and the accommodations were nice and simple. A private bedroom with 2 twin beds, which had a shared bath and community kitchen. The meals were good, vegetarian,... This was my second time at the Kadampa Meditation Center. First time with two girlfriends just for a quick relaxing weekend and I had an amazing experience. This time I went with my family. We spent a long weekend there, my husband camped with the kids and we all enjoyed it! I stayed in the dorms because I am not... More

the temple, the people, (the food) everything about my experience at the temple was nothing short of life changing. I am not a Buddhist but interested in all philosophy of spirituality and nobody once pushed any religion upon me which made the experience more about me and less about the religion. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the cooks... More
