Our family picked this attraction to go to on a damp cold rainy day. I was just going along to be agreeable. I left wanting to return again. It is a fantastic outdoor activity for all ages but does include walking. There are surprises around every corner and over every hill. You can make a donation before or after.

Art Omi is a non profit no charge beautiful art center indoor exhibitions and a vast landscape with outdoor sculptures. They often have events and have a small snack bar. Wonderful to walk on the landscape with woods fields and pond.

Once you hit the road for you favorite art places such as Dia: Beacon or Storm King Art Center, don't miss the precious jewel of Omi International Art Center. Excellent artworks embedded in a gorgeous landscape. We enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere hiking through the woods and on smooth hills of a well curated outdoor sculpture park. Walk or take a... More

The sculptures were interesting - and some were quirky (which is always fun). Some of them were hard to find - the map good be better at locating the pieces. (Perhaps part of the fun is wandering around in the forest and meadow and coming upon a sculpture. But if you are short on time, a more detailed map would... More

On a Monday morning no one was here but us. With no money required and a map printed out from online, we spent a couple of hours wandering around taking photos of these inspiring, quirky and interesting sculptures. Can't wait to come back at sunrise or sunset (OK, probably sunset) You can ride bikes through it too.

This is a sprawling sculpture park with many hidden treasures. Set up in a circle with great views at every turn. Staff in greeting center was very helpful and there is a light bite to eat cafe. Very diverse and well staged. They offer free concerts and even bikes to tour the property. Bring your camera.

A must see in the area the Omi sculpture garden has great works scattered on acres of land. Be prepared for a one and a half hour walking tour at least. I loved the Bernard Venet bent iron beams. The building hosting the cafe (***) and gallery is a great architecture piece.

Took the afternoon off. Arrived somewhat late around 4:00pm . The gallery and reception area close at 5pm. Spent the next hour or so walking through the well maintained sculpture park. It was a very hot and humid day but we managed to stay on the shady edges and in the forest. Well worth the trip. The sculpture is wonderful... More

This Center has grown to be a world class institution and well worth a visit. Bring the kids, the dog. And the cross country skiing in the winter on groomed trails is free.
