The entire foot of Seneca Lake is a park. the city park connects with the state park. When ever I visit Geneva, I like to throw on my skates and roller blade the parks. The pavement is a little rough in parts of the park and is tough skating at times but the views are worth the effort! At any... More

Great water owes on the lake. Very relaxing with all the wineries you can visit. They are very up to date and well run. We did buy some wine and grape pies. They were great.

We visited Seneca Lake State Park with our two young children and had a blast. They have one of the best playgrounds we've seen, and have a huge splashground that our kids loved! The splashground did get busy (it was a Saturday morning in the summer), but was plenty big to not feel overcrowded. It was very well maintained and... More

Lovely spot on the lake. Lots of construction and noise detracted from the serene surroundings. Would not go back.

Nice walking/biking path along the lake. The beach area is pretty nasty and dirty. I wouldn't swim there or let my kids. There is a nice spraypark and playground for the kids. Lots of grills to cook on and pavillions to rent/reserve.

Beach is gross. Sticks and trash all over. Spray park is fun for the kids, but you don't want to swim in their lake water. Smells and is so dirty.

I must admit that this probably wasn't my favorite park in the Finger Lakes area, but perhaps I didn't get around to enough of the grounds. This park is laid out in a fairly linear fashion, with walkways following the shore of Seneca Lake. The views of the lake are continuous and beautiful. However, in the area where I strolled... More

My family had a small reunion here at the park. Although none of the shelters were available for the day we were looking for (call ahead!!) we were told that if we came early in the morning, we may be able to get the area near the children's water park which has a really nice 'shelter' and move some picnic...
