Love Geneva and South Main Street. Many great places to eat, drink and shop. Take a walk and see all the historic buildings, stop in for a bite to eat, a drink or a piece of pie and coffee! Love the antique shop and the furniture store.....husband loved the cigar store too!

Something to do that isn't a winery. Old, quaint town with shops of all types. In the shape of a T, the walk is not far for anyone having trouble.

Beautiful historic district. We attended a wedding at Geneva on the Lake villa, and though it was pouring rain, we saw what beautiful grounds they had and the food and wine was excellent.

The old buildings are very interesting. Worth your time to take some time to walk around and view them. We thought the old Opera House with it's antique ticket booth was a real find.

Different styles of homes can be admired there. Take a stroll, visit the historic reserve museum and take a map for a walking tour of the street from the museum. Each home is marked with the year it was built in, mostly in the 19th century. There is also a part with an awesome view of the lake and benches... More

We got the walking tour map of South Main Street from the Historical Museum in one of the houses. A great way to get to know the history of this section of Geneva and William & Hobart College.

Loved this cute street! The houses are very pretty and have a lot of character. Plus the views of the lake from the street are amazing.

No meters to feed!!!! Free parking for up to two hours along the main streets even so dining was hassle free. Plenty of parking for walks along the lakefront.

I lived on South Main for about five years, in two different apartments (one in a row house, one in a detached home). It is very, very pretty, especially in the spring and summer -- reminds me of photos (because I have never been there) of Charleston, SC. Lovely for a stroll between downtown and the Hobart & William Smith... More
