Stopped here on the way home and came away with some great beer. The folks that run this can tell you a lot about the beer and there is a good variety. The Moo Thunder Stout is excellent and worth taking home. They also make different seasonal ales which are very intriguing. The next time I am in the area... More

http://www.butternutsbeerandale.com/ Butternuts is a small barn on a country road on the outskirts of Cooperstown. The beer is really good and you can tell by the cans that they have a sense of humor. Try it. You'll like it. More

Very much a farm - you almost miss it from the road, It is across the street from the route # on the house. It used to be a dairy farm. Chickens on the lose greet you as you park. The beer is excellent and the tasting room is under the barn, which can be cool in summer - another... More
