We visited the distillery as a part of a company trip to the region. We bussed our entire group out to the distillery for a tour and tasting. Not only were the two gentlemen working extremely personable, they clearly were focused on one thing, customer service. They were accommodating, gracious, knowledgeable, and absolutely outstanding. The distillery itself is aesthetically both... More

Tuthilltown Spirits is one of the most admired craft distilleries in the United States, and it has a great story to tell. Fortunately, when you visit there are great storytellers on hand to show you around (tours are offered Saturday and Sunday on the hour and you'll need to book in advance online or by phone). This is a very... More

I hate whisky but the place was recommended to us knowing that my husband loves it. It was a beautiful fall day. We arrived there around 2pm and with no reservation so we had to eat at the bar witch was fine. The food was delicious. The location is beautiful, there is a small waterfall. We didn't do the distillery... More

Boy, is this place hard to get to, but it is certainly worth it! The hourlong tour costs $15 and ends with a tasting flight of five boozy beverages. My husband and I stopped at four. It was plenty! We got to keep out Tuthill Spirits mini-Mason jars (they were out of glasses), which was a nice add-on since we... More

Let's start with the detour itself. It's not very far off I-84 or I-87, punch the address into your GPS and GO! Or just follow the state route signs, you will be glad you did. This place is fantastic. The staff knows its spirits and has a font of useful information for even the most seasoned of spirits enthusiasts because... More

Growing place. Tour was interesting. Tasting was nice. A bit expensive though. Price makes it a one time stop.

What a treat to discover this beautiful distillery in Gardner, NY. The staff is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Who knew this first ever in NY since prohibition distillery was here. They sample all their spirits your choice of 6 for a $10 fee and you keep the glass. A must do when you are in this neck if the woods.

First time here and Barbara the whiskey expert was hospitable, engaging and all around enhanced our experience! Best time to get there is before the crowds, highly suggest taking the tour and spending time in the retail shop! Words cannot describe what a fantastic time we had! Check out our photos.

During our wine tastings we thought why not a distillery too. We loved Tuthilltown !! The young men working the tasting room were so friendly and informative and the tastings amazing. I wish I could purchase the Gin in my area. Also the tonic that they sell there is fabulous. Cute country decor, wished we could have done the tour.

After apple picking at Tantillo's Farm, we came here for lunch, tour & tasting. It is a hidden gem, and the food & cocktails from the restaurant were very good! It was nice to be able to sit out side and watch the flowing water. The tour was interesting and took about 30-40min. Tasting amount was generous, and even if... More
