I must admit, this was my first experience tasting liquor in the US. It was wonderful. The staff was very knowledgable, and offered pairings and tips on what to taste things with (grenadine, tonic, etc). I thoroughly enjoyed it, and highly recommend the tasting.

This was the 2nd time we've visited and chances are there will be a 3rd. Good but expensive bourbon. This time there were vodkas to taste as well. Friendly and knowledgable staff. We've never done the tour or ate at the restaurant. Definitely aesthetic improvements...paved parking lot and new buildings. This place is up and coming.

we spent a lovely afternoon tasting wines and spirits in the New Paltz area. The tasting here is about $10 for 5 tastes, I'm not much of a brown liquor drinker by my friends are. they loved the new Bourbon, I loved the gin. we all loved the Cassis. This small tasting room is just uphill from the restaurant, which... More

I've had a good experience each time I've visited. The place looks like it's been in operation for decades but it's actually very new and modern. The tour and tasting are nice but I must say it's quite expensive for the area. It screams hipster Brooklyn and so do the prices.

Time did not allow for a tour of the distillery but we were able to sample some of the products: A $10 tasting includes a choice of any 5 spirits and you go home with the glass! We sampled the apple vodka, white whiskey, the gin, cassis and cacao liqueur (ended up purchasing the last three). All were excellent. Took... More

We wanted to visit the distillery after tasting the baby bourbon at an event in NYC. We stayed at a B&B nearby and scheduled a tour of the distillery and dinner for the same night (May 2015). The tour guide was energetic and engaging, I don't think his spiel was memorized. Tour lasted <1 hour including questions. We didn't get... More

The family was on the way home and swung in based on a recommendation. I tried a tasting of the vodka and bourbons. We really liked the setting by the river. (hated the parking) The vodka was pretty decent and the whiskeys were fine. I bought the bourbon (cost 40 bucks or so for a small bottle). We had a... More

Four of us visited and took the tour of the distillery, followed by a tasting of their whiskey and vodka. Tour was very thorough and informative. Tasting was great. They do make some interesting whiskeys and vodkas on site. I would have rated this a "5" except that it is expensive -- $15 per person for the tour and tasting.

Really liked this one, first time to try bourbon enhanced by maple, really enjoyed it. They have respectable gin and vodka as well. One of the vodkas is made from apple and it retains some of the essence of it, good sipping vodka.
